xxxx
Hi Amersall and thank you.:A;)
We will know more shortly of what is happening about dad, and I will ring the family later to find out how he have been today.
Yes very sad and yes your right I bet "Kyle's" mum is very proud of him, yet but tragic, being so young, and like you said he died at doing a job he adored.;)XXXXXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

My sisters Fiance was killed in Nov aged 24, A Royal Marine. His little girl (my wee niece) was only 9 mths old. We are all devastated but so proud. Sorry to butt in but we have a lot in common x0

I did not agree but looking at some of todays youth maybe it would sort things out to a point (although again, i would hate my son doing it):o. They still have it in Cyprus and when I was over there (my sister lived there for 4 years) it was so sad to see the young lads doing anything to try to get out of it.
I know its very scary isn't it?
My one grandad he was in the Welsh regiment, obviously many years ago and was also help prisoner of the japanese war, he seen his own brother die in front of him and that haunted him forever, we lost my gramp when I was about 11 years old and all I can remember about him is him talking about the war.
When me and my sister stayed on weekends for our desert we had a bowl of fruit and he made us dip bread in the juice and said for us not to be too fussy.
But I suppose being a prisoner of war they just ate anything they could get their hands on.
I would not want my kids in the forces either. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
