hi everyone hope everyone is doing okay.
Di sorry to hear about your dad hope he is doing okay too.
Well my son starts school 2m and am looking forward to it wee monkey got holdof the remote control for the telly when I was on the phone to the FOS today and turned the volume right up turbo mode well was going to string him up!

The sooner 10 to 9 comes 2m the better lol although I must admit there may be a few tears! Joy or sadness not quite sure.....joy that he is away to school and sadness he isnt a baby anymore!

Meeting dh in town today the festival is in Edinburgh and the town is so busy but there are lots to see and do. SHould be good fun. Meeting hubby at 4 so should be able to get a few things done and seen in the gardens.

its my sisters birthday today too so waiting for her coming with her brood and we are going to the shop as I need to get loo roll my dh decided to use it all this morning and not tell me grgrgr

oh well what is everyone up to at the weekend. I am working Sat and Sun during the day then back to work Monday after being off 2 wks not looking forward to it at all x

Children go back to school earlier in Scotland dont they, my son starts school in September, thank goodness for Tesco uniform and August clubcard vouchers!

Hi folks

Myself and hubby been talking, we are all so fed up, he is fed up of hanging on waiting for jobs, being told they will write, phone etc etc.....he have applied for 100's.....

We are now seriously considering selling our house to move on further afield, even though we know its the same almost everywhere, however he has a chance of something in Cornwall through my brother in law, again the houses are mostly expensive there and with everything going on with dad, I just don't know if its the right time yet, I feel spiteful.
I know I have a big family and there are lots that can help, but I could not live with myself if the worst happens......

Even though things are slowly starting to sort out, we are still in a situation and know we must try to keep a roof over our heads, maybe downsize.

To what I know of the approx value of our house is around £150K max now.

Stumped......

Oh Di, you poor thing .
Totally understand about not wanting to move away because of your Dad. Really hate being so far from my mum and although she is 78 is very healthy but hate not being close enough to her should she need me.
We moved down here for cheaper housing as we sold a 1 bedroom house and brought a 3 bedroom down here for the same price.

Wish I could give you a solution and hope something falls into place soon.
