Oh Di, you poor thing .
Totally understand about not wanting to move away because of your Dad. Really hate being so far from my mum and although she is 78 is very healthy but hate not being close enough to her should she need me.
We moved down here for cheaper housing as we sold a 1 bedroom house and brought a 3 bedroom down here for the same price.
Wish I could give you a solution and hope something falls into place soon.

Thank you Pinknico.:A;)XX
A very hard decision at the moment, I'm sure we will do the right thing in the end, it will take some time I expect.
Wow your mum 78.....bless her, bet she is very proud of you though hunni.:A

Hi folks
Myself and hubby been talking, we are all so fed up, he is fed up of hanging on waiting for jobs, being told they will write, phone etc etc.....he have applied for 100's.....
We are now seriously considering selling our house to move on further afield, even though we know its the same almost everywhere, however he has a chance of something in Cornwall through my brother in law, again the houses are mostly expensive there and with everything going on with dad, I just don't know if its the right time yet, I feel spiteful.
I know I have a big family and there are lots that can help, but I could not live with myself if the worst happens......
Even though things are slowly starting to sort out, we are still in a situation and know we must try to keep a roof over our heads, maybe downsize.
To what I know of the approx value of our house is around £150K max now.

Hi Di sorry your in such a pickle hun the main thing is even if you decide to move you have loads of family aroundd you to support your dad and dont forget even moving to cornwall you can soon get back to your dad if needed. If something happened to your dad, god forbid, it isnt too far to get home you have to do what you think is best hun for you and yours maybe by the time you sell your house your dad might have improved, what do you think. I am thinking of you hun you have been so supportive to me as you all have so I am here anytime. Luv DI xxxx
Hiya Di and thank you hunni.....:A;)XXX
Yes you have made a good point, and I was talking to my one sister on the phone and she reckons we should go for it, she said if you don't think about it now, we never will.
And of course my son with needs loves Cornwall as well.
Yes your right, it really is not that far as such and easy to get back if needs to be, although we would visit regularly as well.
Thank you for your advice and support Di, you and everyone else are so lovely, amazing and I adore you all so much.:AXXXXXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

My dog is much better but just so scared to take him walks now. My son looked after him whilst we were away. He went wild when we got back. I think I have fussed him so much of late that its made him worse.
Will try and have a read through the posts now.:eek:0
