I know what its like dialysis, its sad yet happy and exciting as well. You have to remember home is where the heart is so put your heart into your new home and it will be fine. Hard but things can sometimes happen for reasons. I think you will be happy but it will take time.

I bet its great doing the painting and being so busy. Make it your palace (the queen has two residences). We will all come for a barbie when you have done. :D

What I cannot understand is Firstplus have their name on the policy so some definate relationship with the insurer there. The insurer allows Firstplus to use their name on their policies. Then there is the terms of the policy (one which i know is considered unfair), then there is the rebate and the rebate is determined by the terms of the policy (its only because of that term in the policy that they rebate using rule 78 and you then pay for all the interest as well on the policy so very unfair) so why can this not be a complaint. The insurer is under compulsory jurisdiction so there should be no issues there and FOS can look at complaints about UTCCR. What is the problem?

Also it seems that the brokers on these loans were only allowed to sell FIrstplus policies on Firstplus loans so they were actually "agents" and not "brokers" as brokers have to offer the best policy for your needs. Agents only offer one as they are working for the insurer as an "agent". It is not so complicated to me but maybe that is cause I am not lawyer.

Then they can determine the relationships cause of the commission too.

Moan, moan bloody moan. I had better shut up now. Sorry for being a pain. I just have to write it somewhere and "my documents" are full.

Hi your all welcome to my barbie when my house is done. i had the gardener in today he has finished now the garden looks even bigger now the lawn is cut, I have three sides to it so enough room for our big barbie then. marshallka I am sure you sre right time is a great healer and I am sure that we will look back on this and be happy in our new home. it is just so hard to see a light we put everything into our house did it up from the mess it was and now it looks so empty and such a mess. i try not to look backwards but I think once I dont have to come back here anymore I will maybe be happier. I am quite excited when I am at my new house but having to come back again is the depressing part. It is just so upsetting.
Marshallka you can moan to us anytime sorry your having it tough at the mo.

They have 200 complaints that are like mine at the moment but he said that he would definately call me tuesday as the meeting was on monday but he did not want to say monday incase it went on late.

I have pointed to lots of things in my complaint being looked into and was originally told by FOS that my rebate would definately be something they could look into but from things I had raised they were then looking at the "relationships" of these trios' (not just mine and not just appointed representatives either) and these were things i have googled and although not a lawyer at all I for one think some are valid points. I think maybe they are just fed up of my arguments and yet no-one will tell me and each time I just widen my argument which I think has valid reasons. I don't want to give up on this rebate thing as all my original complaint was, to be put back into the position as if we never had the PPI plus interest. That has never happened yet but I cannot give up and think 100% negative until I actually know for sure. Lets hope first thing tomorrow I get a call.

I think the big thing is being put back in a position that you had never had PPI. Even this stuff through the FOS with PPI never takes you back to that position. I have had this long running arguement with FOS about this although on a different matter. All I want is for these loans of mine to be put back into that position. Never happens really although there are new rulings on re financed loans. I am waiting to see the outcome:confused:

I know maxdp. You have hit !!!! as well. We are all in the !!!! but i will fight for this as long as I have a hole in my !!!. I worked out the EXACT amount of my PPI back and I have done this over and over for FOS and they cannot disagree in any which way at all. I only want the rebate fair really which was one thing they could look into as they said and although this would only be a couple of grand i would be happy with that.

Just have to hope they get back tomorrow now but shall not hold my breathe. I have calmed now a bit but it is frustrating. I have not let anyone use the phone all day:eek:.

Half the time when they do redress they don't redress correct amounts and get away with yet again doing you out of money.

I must admit co-op were spot on to the penny though. They have also been excellent since and have not treated us any differently. We have needed them too just lately with the dog too.

Good luck with yours maxdp. If no-one complained enough they would be allowed to get away with it forever but it does take lots of peeps to do it.
