Still waiting for the FOS to ring. The manager assured me it would be Tuesday (I did say to him "for definate" and he replied "yes" he did not want to say monday cause monday was the day he was seeing another manager about my issues). Well yes your right, if this can be done it will be a help for others, so fingers crossed on yours Marshallka, I am keeping my toes crossed as well, you have worked very hard on this one, a difficult case for you, so lets please hope its all worthwhile. XX

Yes Di, Deloitte is dealing with Picture. Your email from the FSCS proves you already have sent everything, have you sent Deloitte the FSCS email at all or are you writing/ringing them?

Things not looking good again. I have no call as yet and have now called twice and it looks like I am not going to get my promised call that will put an end to this. One hour to go.

If there is no call then I swear i will crack up. Beginning to feel like now even FOS are fobbing me off. It happened the same as last week. Promises and then nothing and then promises again and then nothing. This was a manager who said this and I stressed to him that I needed him to say if he was going to call for definate or just maybe and he said "for definate". I know he is at work but apparently in meetings. Its so annoying. I have been patient for over a year and the mess around i am having is beyond any reasonableness.

Will post back later whilst I go and cool down.

No wonder you feel like you do, why on earth can they just get it done with and just let you know ??
You have been very patient with this and carried on, where I did not, they better sort this out NOW !!!!!!!!

Well they have now closed and not even bothered to ring me. I swear I feel absolutely gutted about this. I just cannot believe that my complaint has been treated this way and I want an explanation to it. I am now going to make a formal complaint about my treatment to my MP as I have it in writing from a manager that my complaint about the rebate was actually a complaint they could look into and now they are saying again "you will not win". I have now missed my opportunity for using the courts too as this was first submitted to FOS in April last year and they have messed it about that much that this is now time barred. You just cannot trust anyone and this has been proof. I know they are busy and that is why I asked if my call would be tuesday for definate cause I also have things to do and have waited in all day. Its disgusting how they treat some people.

I wanted orginally just the same as everyone, to be put back into the position as if I never had the PPI with 8% statutory interest but obviously beginning to feel my face does not fit with FOS and that its just not going to happen.

This is so upsetting indeed, OMG !!

The least thing they should of done was just get back to you on this, you have been on to this for a long long time, let's hope now that your MP can help you with this and its a lot of money to let slip by.

Marshallka a few weeks ago they did contact my hubby just after 6, they must have been working over because they were behind and he also received an email before on a Sunday, this was surprising, I was meant to post up on here about it, so they may still ring, but I would not hang about any longer for them now either, it just isn't on!

Sorry they messing you about. Perhaps they are having a meeting about this to make a new ruling. They should have told you this though. If somebody gets back and says "look am having problems making decisions but will get back" that is common courtesy. It is so annoying it is like banging your head against a brick wall (rather than theirs). Hope there is a ruling on this cause it would then help all on here.

if I missed anything or anyone Im sorry got so much to do and removal booked for Monday. had a few tears last night felt really low about losing the house but I think once we are moved it will be better. Got hlaf my bits and pieces at new house and half here feels like I am living in between at the mo. Take care;):D

They have 200 complaints that are like mine at the moment but he said that he would definately call me tuesday as the meeting was on monday but he did not want to say monday incase it went on late.

I have pointed to lots of things in my complaint being looked into and was originally told by FOS that my rebate would definately be something they could look into but from things I had raised they were then looking at the "relationships" of these trios' (not just mine and not just appointed representatives either) and these were things i have googled and although not a lawyer at all I for one think some are valid points. I think maybe they are just fed up of my arguments and yet no-one will tell me and each time I just widen my argument which I think has valid reasons. I don't want to give up on this rebate thing as all my original complaint was, to be put back into the position as if we never had the PPI plus interest. That has never happened yet but I cannot give up and think 100% negative until I actually know for sure. Lets hope first thing tomorrow I get a call.
