I've just finished reading through some diaries and posts and now feel fully refreshed and motivated....it's amazing what this site does for you. Free therapy :rotfl:

Anyhow, list of things to do by end of play tomorrow to start afresh Monday....

    1. Sort flat....with help of OH.
    2. Find notebook for new spending diary (start Mon)
    3. Find pots/storage for new weekly spends (part of new budget plan)
    4. Clean and tidy work desk and area - tidy desk = tidy mind
    5. Eat sensibly, been bad of late and feeling sluggish for it.
    6. See if OH fancies game of tennis - he brought me new racket today, bless.
    7. Work out rough balance/budget for pay day so have everything in place.
    8. Do some finishing touches on appraisal - Tuesday.
    9. Get a nice early night to start busy week ahead with decent sleep.

Nothing too big but I just feel the need for a little order and structure to get on top of things. Going to head off to bed in a mo, no doubt my lovely OH will come home full of a few beers and want a chat soon enough .

Purchased a new running top today (naughty I know!) for the bargain price of £9. It's got so much warmer of late that I nearly passed out in my normal attire - hoping it'll spur me back into my daily 30 min runs....tell me off if I don't please!!!

Starting a spending diary from Monday in the hope it'll stop my silly spending - still something I have to get under control. I'm determined to keep track of things this month, seems I let things slip this month

Have worked out weekly shopping spend with OH - we're putting in £20 each and trying to keep shopping to this or less. Have told him if he wants beers etc or if I want wine, can have it if money left if not we'll have to pay for our own. He drinks beer far more often than I do wine so thinks that fair

Need to keep on top of things so please feel free to keep me in order guys, we're away in 3 weeks to France and don't want to go away knowing that I have to come back to stress, work and more money problems than I already have!!

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend, not sure i'll get chance to log in later.

    Take care,

    K xxx

    Hi Karen

Good luck with your list, it looks very achievable - and good luck in your appraisal on Tuesday :D

I wasn't going to do a list but now I might! I'm still wavering on whether they motivate me or overwhelm me  I might just try a daily 'positives' list rather than beating myself up

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

 payplan have messed my payments up yet again :mad::mad:....this is becoming regular and they just passify me with, it's a busy climate now .....not good enough

I'm so tempted to go it alone but don't know if I am brave enough....such a wimp  It'll only be a case of setting up the same payments to creditors but at least I know the money will definately go to my debtors and not be weeks late!!!!!

I don't know what to do for the best

Ok, I am being brave and decided to go it alone

I can't keep going month by month with threatening letters, phonecalls etc and sending payments to Payplan only for them to get the payments to creditors some 3/4 weeks later. Sometimes two months payments get credited within a couple of days of each other. Also some months the payments change by a few pence each....

So, this afternoon I have phoned those that I can only pay by standing order and they have all been fantastic and really helpful. They don't want new budgets or anything as can see that I had worked one out with payplan originally and as one lady put it 'in todays climate Miss .............. we are lucky to be getting payments and we are here to help you':eek::eek: I was in shock....she really put me at ease.

I have one more creditor to contact to get details to pay via standing order, the rest are all able to be paid via cheque then I will be set to go. I am allowing Junes payment via payplan and then I will be doing it all on my own.

The bonus with this is that if I do work overtime I can now give this to my creditors and not feel bad about it as payplan wouldn't allow me to.

Ooh, it's kind of exciting as feel I can now pay off my debts a lot sooner, manage my own money and finally get back in control :j

Best get on and sort some more.
