    Hey guys,

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the bank holiday weekend. Can't say I have seen much of it, been so tired and slept most of it. I don't know whats wrong with me, I haven't been able to get out of bed and do anything - for instance I went to bed at 11 and didn't wake up until just before mid day....and I really didn't wake up once either. No energy to do anything apart from lay on the couch and catch up with you guys ;)

Anyway, flaking already so will log off for a bit.

    Enjoy the bank holiday all,

    K x

    Morning,

Gosh can't believe how quickly the weekend went - spent most of it asleep. Really don't know what is wrong with me but I have probably only been awake maybe 10hrs or so this weekend in total and I still feel tired now sat at work. If it persists then i'll pop to the doctors this week.

Hope everyone enjoyed their bank hol weekend - i'll be catching up on diaries later when finish work.

    Take care all,

    K xx

P.S - will update with plans later too, although don't really feel like doing anything right now

This doesn't sound like you - maybe a visit to the docs is a good idea?

    Take care

I'm back :D......feeling alive.....well I think so or it's the number of coffees that I have had this morning :rotfl:

Have done my daily scratch cards for the first time in about a week....oops! Feel bad but just didn't remember and didn't log on much. Oh well, back on track now.

I have a new plan of action, something more achievable to me than thinking I can pay off £50k of debt quickly :o:rotfl:Will update on that later as should be working.

Hope everyone is well and had a good week so far, going to pop on and say hi to others now.

    Hello lovely people,

Boy it's amazing how different I feel compared to the last few days - weird!

Anyhow, during my many hours of sleep I think I have come up with a great plan. Obviously I am no super woman and not ever going to be able to clear £50K magically so have decided to start breaking it down and looking at it in smaller levels.

So the plan is to look at the three lowest balances for creditors that I owe and then aim to save 75% of these balances by the end of 2009. My theory is that then in January 2010 I could potentially pay off three creditors and the re-evaluate my situation. My reasons for 75% of the balances as they stand, is that there are payments being made each month to the debts so it'll naturally go down, also I am putting in reclaims for some charges and also there is likely to be lower settlement figures anyway.

    So here goes....the debts....

    Halifax Loan £1156.51
    Halifax Overdraft £1341.57
    Halifax Credit Card £2927.51

75% of these is £4069.19 - so this is my target to save by end of 2009.

I feel if overtime and less trips to London carry's on I should be able to do this. Obviously together with cutting back, careful spending etc etc. It would mean I can then look at my debts, situation afresh in 2010 and come up with another sensible plan.

I find it too hard to look at £50K of debt and what to do with it and unless my salary decides to double....never gonna happen....then I need to break it down and this is the most sensible way I can think of.

Obviously still have the usual plans of losing weight, sorting, succesfully working from home etc etc to go along so heres hoping for some nice positive posts and a nice savings balance going up month by month :D
