Until anyone proves different, we have to assume that this life is the only one we get, we have the one chance, and happiness isnt a destination folks, its the journey, when the hurdles are TOO high, thats the time to seek a plan b.

For me it came about due to external commercial forces, when after 5 years trading 1 robbing bstard had me over for a lot of money, uptill then all my CCs/loans/HP and overdrafts were under control, so if you read the BR pages and think "nah, it wont happen to me"............dont be too sure

Dalip Sweetie....no-one can turn back time.

...if you went back 18 months would you have done things any differently?? ...if you had not been brave enough to take the BR route my guess is you would still be heavily in debt, struggling day to day trapped in a miserable existance with no sleep, no piece of mind & no confidence in the future.

We all have days when we doubt ourselves...you`ve told me that so many times !!! . As you know I still have a contract for my job...for another 2 months anyway & although I`m ill (caused by that very same job!!) I lay awake at night thinking that if I just went back ..I could afford a dmp ( 63 years but hey!!) & this mess would go away....but it would`nt as I would probably hit that bridge on the M1 through sheer exhaustion before long!!

Accept today as a `down` day....let the dust settle on any issues you are currently experiencing....take those darling dogs of your out & get some fresh air & look ahead again.

Even the most positive amoungst us have days like these.

Another rambling post from Angel...but you know where I am if you need to just talk to someone.

    Love Cx

Hey Dalip - I know its no bed of roses - Im just a month in and after thinking I could afford to keep my house, Ive realised I cant and need to move to rented - so after the horrendous stress of coming to terms with impending br and going through that Ive something else really stressful to deal with - it seems like its never gonna end - Im still crap at budgeting too - and Ive been having the odd ciggie - I packed that lark in about 6 years ago!! Had a couple of 'funny turns' too recently which has freaked me out - Bl**dy stress thats what it is!! Bl**dy sick of it!! Anyway, I really hope things improve for you very soon indeed - you have been loads of help to me on here - thanks for speaking out - it does help people :)
    :j Goodbye debt - Hello sanity! :j

    Dear Dalip,

sorry to hear that life is so difficult at the moment. You are a very kind person, when I first came on this forum (not so long ago) you calmed me down about my BRU worries (because I bought a washer on credit) just before deciding that BR is my only option.
I was in that state of complete and utter panic, not knowing what to do, how to do it, wondering if BR will be the right or wrog thing to do.
Like you today, I felt utterly alone and had nowhere to turn to.
But then you and some other kind people gave me some advise, some kind words... and slowly the panic lifted. Thank you!!!!

I sincerely hope that things with your OH will get better again and that at one point you will be able to relax emotionally from the BR experience. Wish I could offer you advise, but am divorced and alone with my kids, so am probably not the best person to help with relationship problems as I was not able to save my own.
Sending you lots of happy thoughts. xxx:kisses3:
