    Evening

It took ages to get to Mums this morning, usually takes me 5-10mins, I was detoured so many times because the road was being re-surfaced and I got totally lost :o
They shouldnt do these things to me I have no sense of direction and if I am sent off my usual route I've had it
So after 1/2 an hour of driving aimlessly up and down roads I thought I remembered, I turned a corner and I finally got there, and Mum said 'you ok? you look a bit odd'.... well we wont go there.....

were having fish for Dinner but OH said he would rather have sausages so thats nice and quick, good job really as we are off out at 7.

Going to see a friend and OH will take her OH to play snooker, while we have a glass or 3 of the old vino collapsio, and catch up on all the weekly gossip ;):D

Rachieb - thats a shame, but at least you all had a good time and the youngsters enjoyed themselves:j

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY master Pink _party_

Sunnygirl - (((hugs)))for you and your Mum and Dad x

Halight - hope things are ok with you x

Shez and BargainRzl - nice to see you :hello:

Susan Boyle was wonderful, I was knitting and dropped my stitches :rotfl:Its a long time since a voice made me shiver but she cerrtainly did, I hope she goes right to the final.

Well better go get the sausages on, enjoy your evenings everyone

    Evening All

Not had much chance to do much in the way of OS today as been over at the BBC. Got to go back next week for training as a freelancer!:j So hopefully I might get some work there in the future.

Got a bargain bag today - Kipling half price:T A good friend did me a deal. Not OS at all, but I couldn't resist.

Having prawn salad for dinner and probably HM banana bread for pudding - didn't turn out so well this time. It didn't rise properly.

Off to the farm shop tomorrow to get some meat, then maybe measure up the flat for curtains. And it's also BIL's birthday, so I expect I'll see him too to give him his present - which I got in the sales:D

    Hope everyone's ok

    I've been Money Tipped!
Dear heart has had to work extremely late. So tea has been rather re-arranged.

Little bear is back to his normal sunny self, helped by a liberal application of juice.

It looks like it will be a while before I get my washer, so I will be washing in pillow cases to protect from rust - I must now stay on top of the washing!

    Hugs to all

Thanks to Aussie for mentioning Susan Boyle. I don't watch Britain's Got Talent so I'd have never seen her otherwise. Wow;)

Thanks zippychick and Sunnyday I think what I am going to do is put it on tomorrow night overnight as it is my day off on Thursday and I can then shred meat etc and do peas.

Sunnyday do you put any veg in the slow cooker when you do yours (seems some people do others don't)

Have just had Bolognaise for dinner - was lovely. Loads left to freeze for next week too.

N9eav sorry to hear about chicks - hope the others hatch ok .

SunnyGirl - any news from hospital about your Dad.

Hi everyone just a quick update from York hospital. He won't be home today as the cardiac man didn't get to see him. Its so frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!! I've got everything crossed for tomorrow, so have Mum & Dad, and if it looks like a longer stay I'll be going to York on the train & staying with Mum. The rally they're apparently on finishes on Sunday but Mum has found a lovely little site nearby that only takes 5 vans so it'll be peaceful for us/them.

I'm fairly low about it all but keeping a happy voice on when I speak to either of them. I've just spoken to Dad to update him on how our shares & stocks are doing in the Daily Telegraph's Fantasy Fund Manager game, which he thoroughly enjoys. We're up by half a percent today so it's good lol!

I hope that everyone has a good evening. I'm going to have a quick surf then wake DH up for work tonight & have an early bath & put my jammies on. xxx
