    Morning All

Stef - lovley photos, I've also sent you a friend request.

Well It's cloudy but bright here, not sure what the weather will do but am going to risk putting a line of washing out. Got to go to w*rk in a bit but I'm only in 2day and 2moro then off till Monday! YAY!! Got DH grandma's funeral on Firday and the whole family are staying at an Innkeepers Lodge Thursday night as the funeral is in St Helens. I think it'll still be a nice break for us though, considering. 17 of us in the hotel, aplogies if any of you out there are thinking of staying at Warrington/Haydok Innkeepers Lodge!

Hmm, not sure what to have for tea tonight. Will decide later. I managed to give my self a poorly tummy last Tuesday after eating some cheese that wasn't right and ever since I've not really fancied food much....great for the waistline! I've lost 3 pound this week!!

Hope everyone had a gr8 easter. I had fun at my Grandads yesterday, 20 of us descended onhis house and we had lunch and tea there, I got to cuddle my two new great nephews. One (6 mths) was full of smiles for me and the other wasn't too sure of me(18 mths)!

    Bye for now

Sunny here today, hope it stays that way. I've dropped hubby off at work, come home, had breakfast, fed the fish & the dog, watered the plants & WM is on, hopefully by the time I've walked the lodger WM will have finished & I can hang the washing on the line.
Today I need to put some petrol in the car, take a bag of clothes to the recycling bin, go to the bank, chemist & butchers and then do some more housework.
I hope everyone has a good day.
    Hugs Hester

Morning Chums ,hope you all had a great Easter and didn't eat too many eggs. I am going to pick up my DGD this morning and she is going to help me take some stuff to the tip.My son-in-law fitted my new t.v. in over the holiday so the old one is going to the rubbish tip.Plus lots of other de-clutter that I have done over the holiday .I can't pick much up at the moment as my arm is still a bit swollen from the lymphodema but she is a good strong lass so she will be my arms for me.
Roll on saturday then I'll be off on my holidays for a week to a little place called Hope nr Sheffield with my pal.We are doing some genealogical research on her Mum's family plus a visit to Chatsworth and a few other places.I am running down my fridge this week so I won't have to bin anything so its going to be 'hobsons choice for dinners this week.<<hugs to those who are down and a big :) to the rest of you Have a good week

Morning everyone! Sorry I've not posted over the last few days - we had a school reunion over the weekend and I had a couple of old school friends staying with me. It was lovely catching up with so many people over the weekend, some I see in passing and some that I haven't seen since leaving school in 1987

The weekend here wasn't that good weatherwise til Sunday, but the last couple of days have been fantastic. So, I've managed to strip the guest beds and get the bedclothes washed and dried outside :) The towels used over the weekend are out on the line today, planning on doing my own bed tonight when I get home from work.

Heading to the mainland at the end of the week, as a close friend's mother passed away at the weekend, so going to the funeral to give her some support. Never an easy time for people.

Right, have to head off to work, I was going to take a half day, but in light of taking Thursday and Friday off now, I'd better go in and rearrange my diary.

Have a good day everyone and I'll try and catch up with the weekend threads sometime later today.

    Take care

    morning all,

Its funny how much the weather can differ, the only nice day we had over the weekend was yesterday, today is great but most folk are back to work . I have a dark load in the wm, which I will hang out, think I will get a load of towels done today too.

Need to hoover through, and mop floors, looks like someone has spilt blackcurrant in the kitchen , Im betting on it being OH :D

I then need to phone the estate agent and get them moving on getting this place on the market. :T,Which will now take 2 weeks as I need to get a HIPS sorted.

Yesterday we had a great day, went and bought a BBQ, which is a nice one, all stainless steel, OH set it up, while I mowed the lawns,( I also mowed next doors for her :A:D) and strimmed the edges, so the garden is looking great. We had a bbq for tea, sausages, and hm lamb burgers, and some chicken thighs which were reduced in sainsbugs, with salad and rolls.

Today we are going to have quiche, with salad and mash, I need to make the quiches.

I also need to pop into town, to collct dd's blazer from the dry cleaners ready for next week, and I need to do an online shop

Phew, think that will keep me out of trouble :D.

    Have good days all xx

Nic1lou2 - My Mum is still with her 2 friends and depending on what the doctors say today we'll hopefully be able to make plans to get Dad home here. We've arranged a driver & tow truck to bring the car & van back as its needed so thats a worry thats gone. We'll know more after lunch today I hope.

Pink - *Touching lots of wood* the same time of getting up daily routine seems to be helping the migraines :T I did get one last night but once I'd stopped being sick & gone to sleep it seemed to go. Its certainly gone this morning thankfully.

Thank you to everyone who is asking & thinking about us :A it means such a lot.
