    Soz about the Old thing:o:rotfl:

If you lived up hear I would MAKE our college give you a job, I would share mine with you too:A

That does sound a bit full on BB if you were to take this other job.

yeah it would be. This year it would be £1130 per month after tax and NI with a 6% pension contribution and the funny tax code I have due to me paying last year's AQA tax through my salary. From next April it wouldn't be so much and would go up to £1200 per month. My bills (with £30 petrol) are £1150 per month, so teaching (average £100 per month after deductions doing 2 hours per week) would cover food and then it would be any extra teaching/invigilating and any AQA I could then do at the weekends to start hammering the debt.

So, 37 hour week to pay the bills, 40 hour week to eat and whatever else on top to start killing the CC.

It would be an upwards move though - my aim is to be on 23k (minimum) by July 2010 so I can move mortgage when the current deal ends. The mortgage is the killer in my SOA. It wouldn't be an issue if there were 2 people contributing equally to the bills, god, I'd feel like it was a luxury  but as it's just me, it's bloody hard work.

So, I would have 70k equity to bring with me to put down (30k less than a year ago  ) - where am I going to be living Lou?? :D

The good news.......the £100 refund has appeared on my CC and I have a £95 credit (I guess there was £5 in interest somewhere along the line). I need to call and get that sent to my bank account.

The bad news.......after transferring the amount from one of my CC's to the LoB, 2 transactions went on late (ironically the train and hotel for the DFW Bristol meet! ) and the monthly interest so I now have a balance of £83 on a card I had just cleared.

The other bad news is that I am knackered. i have woken this morning and feel absolutely exhausted. I started coughing yesterday - kind of like if you get the smell of vinegar or a strong bag of salt and vinegar crisps and the smell kind of 'catches' in your throat?? I've drunk a big swig of some cough mixture I found so hopefully that will help, but generally I feel really, really tired this morning.

I had promised myself faithfully that I would do £50 today and £50 tomorrow on AQA and get some house work done. I really need to hoover and dust through and the bathroom is shameful, as is the kitchen floor.

    Thankyou Elli xxxx

The problem is it's starting to compound a bit. I was lazy for the last 2 weekends of last month not doing enough AQA (and I said it would come back to haunt me) and it's 'cost' me £300 in my savings. Because of the car situation I don't know how much of that £300 I can put back until it gets through its MOT and I still have a minimum of 6 months tax to buy at the end of the month. If the car is £155 (the absolute minimum it will be) and 6 months tax is £100, that leaves me £95 from the interest I am due at the end of the month.

The £100 CC refund is probably going to be used for the £83 CC bill I've just had today and I can't think of any more 'miracle' money to appear from anywhere soon so I may be looking at paying back £100 into my savings but nowhere near the £300 I've borrowed - and I still have some food I'll have to buy from next week for the rest of the month.

And then it starts again in August.
