spent money I don't have will be on my tombstone bb. But, it isn't as if you have gone and blown £300 on a pair of shoes or something else not necessary for life is it.
I will go back to what I have said and what I am trying to convinve myself. Savings are there to see you through rough times, not to make pretty numbers on a bank statement. You are having a rough time and those savings are your safety net so use it. You can always put it right back when times are easier, and they will get easier, you will find a job paying what you need.:A

which will cover the car costs etc......leaving you NOT having to AQA madly when you don't feel like it.
you have an option here - you CAN do AQA to top it up, if you feel that way inclined, or you CAN use the interest......do whichever you want to do!!
unfortunately I will still need to AQA madlyI should be doing a minimum of £500 each month to have a break even point and the combination of quiet afternoons on there and other stuff just seeming to crop up (ie I have a 1500 word research project to write this weekend) I feel as if I'm grinding away for nothing and not getting anywhere even when I am working mad hours.
I know Jinky.......I shouldn't be let loose on my own in a supermarketIt's why I always get my shopping delivered so I don't buy things like chocolate coated malted milks and Aldi own version Jaffa Cakes.......:o:rotfl: I was very good though - I looked at the Tiramisu chocolate caramels for.....oooooooh, I'd say a good minute but eventually walked away without buying some !
When I look back to my life with my ex, I shudder at our old spending habits. We always went to the supermarket together - at least twice a week - and spending £100 a week between us was normalThe biggest killer was that he had to have half decent wine every trip, wouldn't entertain Value items for the majority of stuff and wouldn't eat the same meat twice in a row!! He also often didn't know what he fancied until we got there which used to make it a nightmare - it became impulse mad going up and down the aisles.
He's still the same though - I see his food etc when I go to get Charlie - cupboards stuffed with Walkers crisps, Tesco Finest sausages which will probably get cooked and given to Charlie and loaves of bread he will eat 1 slice out of and then chuck. I am so glad to not be in that kind of mindset, so I am trying not to beat myself up over a bagful of impulse buys once every few months."Stay Wonky":D

You don't have to leave to spy out opportunities. Spy them out, and then leave if you need to.Burlesque_Babe wrote: »Beat me with a big stick for not working harder?

You are putting yourself under a lot of pressure. You have to be careful of that.Burlesque_Babe wrote: »When I look back to my life with my ex, I shudder at our old spending habits. He won't be the same soon. His change in circumstances will ensure that."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
