At the interview I was told they would try to tell the successful person today (they should have been finished by 2.30) or would possibly sleep on it and call tomorrow but let everyone know by the end of tomorrow. I can't see it taking more than the rest of the afternoon to make a choice of 1 from 6 people so I think I was unsuccessful.
Obviously there is a natural bit of rejection 'well, what was wrong with me' but at the end of the day, it wasn't the job I wanted.
What I can take from it is
1. It was excellent interview practise and I was happy with it overall (apart from the 1 question which I knew was my weak spot anyway)
2. A year ago I wouldn't have had the confidence to go to an interview for this kind of post because I was still a shed head
3. It emphasised more that I prefer a working environment where it is a smaller organisation and a more tight knit work force rather than a larger place.:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -

I will be seeking your advice soon BB........
as I re-apply for my own job:o
And can I just say that if I hear the bloody word "proposal" one more time today I am going to bite someones nose off:mad:

well, I have 1 'live' application at the moment. It closed on the 25th and is the data protection officer - 21 hours, 22k pro rata. That would still mean everything else would be needed job wise, but the pressure would be relieved that tiny bit.
Jobs day at work and in the paper tomorrow so who knows what is out there.
Payday tomorrow. Let's hope my calculations are correct in my pre-tax pay. I've worked out (with Sammy's fab spreadsheet) that my 'dry' month is going to yield me £610. I really hope it isn't less than that otherwise the scrabbling for pennies goes back up a few more notches until the end of the month."Stay Wonky":D

Be thankful - someone will come up with an even more ludicrous term and you'll be longing for the good old "proposal" days..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
