that has to be one of the funniest things i've heard in a long time :rotfl::T:rotfl:
guess I'll see what mood he is in when he appears - he was insistent on changing the way the washing machine plugged in (it is currently hard wired into one of those switch plate thingies like a cooker switch on the wall above the work surface) and he felt it should be a socket behind the machineand he pulled the stuff out to do it whilst this was kicking off but hasn't been back. I'm not sure I want a socket behind the machine though - how do I get to it to turn it off if I ever need to? I'm not the strongest of people and I think I'd struggle to move a washing machine.

You can always have a socket behind the machine with a switch elsewhere (and more handy) which isolates that little spur.
You do know you can pull the powder drawer completely free of a washing machine? It means you won't have to perch and strain at the same time..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

My machine slid forward quite easily when I was investigating the reason for its outbreak of incontinence. That was on a tiled floor, though, and I wouldn't recommend trying it while wearing flip flops if you're as clumsy as I am.

he's just called. Asked 'had I got my washing done' - yes I had.
'what was the weather forecast for tomorrow - should he wear jeans or shorts to Wembley? ' shorts. It will be hot.
'See you later'.
As if nothing had happened........I reckon the sheer lack of importance of the conversation translated as 'I am in trouble. I'll call to make small talk to test the water'
Probably shouldn't tell him that when I went to get Charlie I used my ex's washing machine to wash my work clothes as he wasn't there......"Stay Wonky":D

I think I would probably drop that into the conversation - also the fact that you have a key to ex's and are "allowed" to go in when he's not there... I know he probably knows that anyway but strange he's the current Mr BB and this isn't the case....Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

See I would have told him to wear jeans and a jumper:D
I think he'll have enough problems as it is
I found him train tickets which are from here to the stadium, up to London, tube to Marylebone and quick train. Stops right at the door of the stadium apparently. Nice and easy route.
No.......he is going to get the tube from Waterloo - sooo much quicker, sooo much easier than the route I found for him.....
I guess he hasn't looked at the live underground engineering works for this weekend:rotfl: It involves 2 tubes and a bus........
