    Hi All:D

Haven't been around much the last few days. Well that's a lie, I have read some of the threads but was too tired to post:D We've been decorating. Unlike so many of you, we've had miserable Easter weather until about 2pm today:rolleyes::rolleyes: No of course I'm not jealous of your sunshine and outdoorsy activities :p Is decorating OS  Not sure about that, but boy have I been inventive with the catering :T I've practically emptied the fridge, which did result in some ummm unusual or shall we say novel combinations :rotfl:I've utilised everything from a scrap of cheese to some raw beetroot, and luckily DH was so hungry by the time we ate each evening he proclaimed everything delicious. A friend delivered the free range eggs this morning, so just polished off a very normal but quick meal of eggs mushrooms, bacon and onion rings. Food of the gods;)

My biscuit and cake tins are empty icon9.gif So it will be a baking morning tomorrow. I'll have a quick rummage through my supplies and then work out what I can make. Hope I've got coconut because I really fancy anzacs.

Haribo and Pink, it's great having you back. I've enjoyed reading both your posts, which have brought a smile to me, even when I was much too tired to post.

Well I'm off for a quick look round the boards, welcome to all the new posters.

I'm so slow at typing I missed your post Haribo. You have nothing to apologise for, nobody can expect you to be constantly but obliquely criticised and not defend yourself. Enjoy your holiday, and your family. OS will still be there once it's over :kisses3:

Thanks for the kind welcome everyone, not had time to be on here all day as I have completely gutted the house today, I don't think it has ever been so clean!

We used the leftover beef from yesterday with a salad for tea which was really nice. Planning to go to the market in town tomorrow, I have not rummaged round a market for years so it will be nice, I am after some socks for ds as his feet seem to have grown a lot lately and most if his socks don't fit anymore, I think it will be cheaper to pick some up from there than the supermarket.

I have had my aubergine and pepper plants outside all day today trying to harden them off, not sure if I'll be able to actually grow them outside though or whether they will be better in the greenhouse?

    Buenas Noche

Just back from our hours walk. Also done a small ironing hill today, put the airer out on the patio, and kept walking to it with each item as ironed, as felt it was a bit more exercise :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

H-J don't apologise to us, you have not done anything to apologise for.

Tea tonight was the second half of the cooked chicken got yesterday, DH had his with beans and chips, I got a sweetheart cabbage, small cauli, and a brocolli head for 1€ on the market yesterday, so cooked some of those for me with chicken, followed by fresh pineapple left over from yesterday and some strawberries.

I hadn't realised how the weight had crept on, I knew that some clothes had had to have larger sizes bought, and put away, but the graph on the wii fit showed me just where I have come from, the good news is I have had a trying on session, and some clothes certainly cannot be worn (including 2 pair of black crops worn once), but I have an all new (old) wardrobe of what had been hidden under the bed here.

As we have the summer in the UK/France with the 'van I need to bring a summer wardrobe home, plus anything which is definitely too big, as I do intend to keep the weight off, and hopefully go down a further size. This is purely a cosmetic thing, and nothing to do with health. If by the time I come back I have managed to lose further/stablise then the larger sizes will be finding their way to the nearest charity shop before I return.

Tomorrow we are off to the Mar Menor with some friends, we met them in a Spanish Service Station as we were on our way down here a couple of years ago, and they were on their way to buy a house and move out.

(((hugs))) where wanted - Smokey did you have a nice break?

Penelope I didn't see all that stuff tbh. I don't tend to find much interest in reading about other peoples families particularly when I don't have my own as tbh all it does is emphasise that I don't have one and never will.My apologies but I am not really able to understand or relate to posts about children so tend to skip read those bits. And those posts as you say do not indicate family. One could assume a close friendship or neighbours. After all I do not have a family but spent a lot of time this weekend with other people not related to me.
