    Evening all

    Well hasn't it been a lovely day again - in fact a nice Easter!! (apologises to anyone who has not been as fortunate with the weather):o

    I have washed just about everything in sight and think that the only dirty clothes in the house are what we have on! Everything dried on line and smelling wonderful. Ironed and nearly all put away. Seem to be having trouble finding room for everything - don't know what that says about the state of my washing basket normally then:rotfl:

    Hubbie painted pantry and everything has been put back in - in an orderly fashion and he has been suitably praised!:rotfl:

    DD1 just called and wanted running up to Asda for some bits and pieces as her OH was at work and she doesn't drive. I was moaning about it under my breathe and thinking that we would probably not make it in time anyway but when we got there it was Yellow Sticker Heaven!!!:j:j

    I was thinking of you all as I wandered round with a cheesy grin on my face:D Even DD1 thinks we should go again on a Sunday afternoon (it is normally a 24 hour store) and she was in fact stalking the man with the yellow sticker gun:rotfl:

    So all in all have had a super productive and very MS day. YS chicken (30p can you believe it!!!! - a whole cooked chicken for 30p I am in shock!) with salad and granary breadcakes (2p!!!!! for 6) for tea. The smoked haddock I was planning to cook can wait until tomorrow.

    Hope you are all feeling OK ((((((Hugs)))))) to anyone who needs or wants one.

    Sybil we need updates on LB - your stories of him always make me smile!
    Diva :hello:and SunnyGirl hope your Dad (and Mum) are OK. Are their friends still at the site with your Mum?

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Little bear has had quite a haul this Easter. Not from me, but from my darling uncle who is still getting to grips with stopping buying.

    All the visitors have meant that his naps have been disrupted and insufficient, because apart from anything else the world is far too interesting. So he is exhausted.

    Well, I've managed a few bits of washing over the weekend, pointed my sister in law in the direction of this site :hello: and tried to get some meal plans outlined. And I made impossible pie which cheered up dear heart.

    We had cold lamb today with chips and beans and the last of it is stir fry tomorrow.

    And LB stole his Dad's chips and licked the mint sauce off!

    Hugs to all.

  • Hello all Old Stylers. Hope you have all had a lovely Easter and have been able to make the most of todays warm weather. :T
    wmf- I was very interested in your post on the products from purenuffstuff. I have had a look on their website and will probably order something for my DD who suffers with awful eczma on her hands. Thanks for the info.

    Hiya all,

    DH & I collected the stone, it was more like 3/4 tonnes not a half tonne. We got it home layed it on the lawn and presure washed it then stacked it behind the out building. Our backs are suffering, but feeling so pleased.

    LADYMAY, I know what you mean about dozens of freecycle emails, I have a second email address with Yahoo, (it's free) so all of those messages go there.

    PIPPA S, Freecycle is a group of people who offer stuff they don't want and don't want to take it to the dump, saves land fill. Also if you need anything you can post a "wanted".
    eg.
    Wanted = tyre for xxxxx car
    Offered = food mixer
    Taken = deck chair.
    It realy is a brilliant site and it's FREE. If you would like a link etc. I will pm you.

    CSARINA, Good grief, how come you have 48hrs in a day? no wonder DH had a dizzy, I had one just reading what you have achieved today. Well done. It seems like you are going to have a wonderfull home.

    Only just skimmed as I must get dinner out.
    Hope you all enjoy the last eve of hols. x

    Good afternoon everyone,

    Reverbie, I have read your pm and will reply when I'm feeling a little calmer. You do realise that the person you are referring to is my sister?

    no had no idea. There has never been any mention in my time here of any family relationship between any posters.
