Soappie well done getting up for DS - hope he has a good catch when he comes home - what sort of fish will it be do you know?

Whatever's biting I guess - anything from mackerel to conger eel!

hex/soappie - are we doing another challenge next week?

It was hard enough finding the 50 things that I did find this week so I'll pass this time I think.

and [STRIKE]heckle [/STRIKE]make sensible suggestions about what they SHOULD be concentrating on (e.g. making more allotments available, banning plastic bags, dealing with the lack of social housing, improving recycling facilities, setting up a community composting scheme...) I'm sure soappie can come up with some suggestions!

I certainly could if required to!

Mudders - sending "everythings fine" for your Dad vibes.

I am so tired today. Getting up earlier than on a work day was a ridiculous thing to do! Hairdresser came and I'm nicely tinted up now. Ended up going to the reference library to look some things up this morning. Then did Tesco this afternoon. Apart from that, I've just mooched around. Have done the dailies though. Can't even contemplate prepping dinner until I know whether there's fish to cook!

Hey ho. I think I deserve a Gordons so will go and take that to the garden. We've not much sun, but it's not freezing cold.

    Grateful and Greenbee
Loving the 'how townies can't cope with the country' posts...but sheesh - some people - !!!!!! they complain about cocks crowing and stuff...they want the streetlights cos it's too dark for 'em LOL
    - attititudes like this-
    - apparently some idiot complained to a travel company because 'No one told us there'd be FISH in the sea. The children were startled' (was on the Now Show...)
They move to the country expecting town attitudes to be accepted:confused:

ETA is 'esconced' a proper word? I can't find it in either of my two dictionaries... (I thought it might be esconsced)

We have the streetlights, next they'll be banning the church bells because they wake them up (duh thats the point!) next it will be any non-rangerover with earlier than 08 reg....any flowers not in the village colour scheme...ensconced is a real word...i am ensconced on the sofa, but not for long probably!
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
