Hi Redruby - your planting is very impressive. I love how you have all those raised boxes. I am showing them to Hubbie coz that would be perfect for the size of garden we have!

Those tomato plants look great - you will have loads if they all bear fruit!!

Thanks hun, yes the boxes are great, save a lot of bending, lets hope all the toms grow ok, will be able to make lots of sauce and freeze xx

Hi all
Had a great day today, went to Liverpool to see our son and his girlfriend, they decided to take us to Knowlsey Safai Park, what a beautiful place it was,the animals all looked great and the Lakeside Farm and other attractions were great too.Its only about 7 miles from Lpool City Centre and in the most lovely surroundings.If you are Lpool way try and go its lovely. Got back tonight and devoured a chicken choccy egg that DD bought for me - feel sick now lololol ate it in one go! Pig that I am,.Hope all ok, Take care and have a good BH Monday.:beer:

Reverbe, I hope your day got better. I'm confused by why you keep saying that you aren't posting on the daily thread any more, when you posted on Thurs, Fri and today. I hope you know that you (and everyone else) are always welcome on this thread.

redruby, I'd love to see your garden but I'm not a member of facebook so I don't think I can.:(

The turkey was delicious. It's the first time I've cooked a boned turkey and it was much more moist than a normal turkey...there's lots left over but as we're all off work/school this week it will probably get used up in sandwiches or picnics if the weather holds out.

We had a lovely time at the beach...ds2 and the Haribo twins had a paddle in the sea and had great fun with the kite although Mr Pink nearly managed to decapitate a few people in his efforts to get the stunt kite into the air before I persuaded him to give it up as a bad job and just use the ordinary kite. It was great to see so many people out enjoying the sunshine. I love Spring, it's my favourite season.

It must have been all the chocolate today but I have no notion of sleep, but I'm off to try because I'll regret it tomorrow if I don't.

Today me and OH had a lie in, got up stripped the 2 sofas and put covers in WM, cleaned bathroom, cleaned kitchen, went to Mums for dinner. Came home then cleaned a bit more then went for a walk with my sis and dog round the park- such a lovely day!
