Happy Easter everyone...........((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) if you need one.

The allotment was graced with our presence this morning. OH emptied two of the compost bins. I packed the car with the table for the garden, the clematis in itsa pot, a full pot of compsot and 6 canes for the sweet peas, the herb wheel, apple mint and a herucara?????spelling......

It started to rain so we hightailed it back home, the washer was just finishing and I have the towels on the line, it is brightening up.

Lunch was cheese from a reduced price cheese selction from Mr T's and biscuits, I had an apple, OH a yogurt.

Veg etc prepared for supper, home grown rhubarb and apple crunble, lamb studded with garlic on a bed of rosemary, roasties, carrots calebrese and cauli. Cooking the meat is going to be interesting there are no instructions for the oven, its one of those grill and oven together jobbies......I did manage to work the grill the other night, lets hope I am sucessful with the oven!!! Its a Scrieber Astra, have tried doing an internet search, but I guess its yonks old......if the kitchen cabinets are anything to go by!!!

I think I am going to spend the afternoon chilling on the settee, unless the pull of the sewing room gets too strong................

Happy Easter to all. Never planned anything today and wish i had now. Having bacon fried eggs beans and fried potato rounders for dinner tonight. It's all i can muster.

I think i might pop up to tescos to get out of the house. I have no tinned tomatoes and the thought is making me panic slightly!

    Spike is gorgeous, real cute!

    hugs to all.

I don't post on the daily thread anymore but just wanted to pop in to wish everyone a Happy Easter. You lot are all making my mouth water. Flatmate just rang to tell me he is getting to the pub before the match to have a meal right when I am sitting in my scruffs with a huge pile of washing up to do. So looks like it will be a bag of crisps for dinner tonight.

Might go out to watch the match. It's on Setanta so can't get it at home and there is nothing else on tv. Easter really makes me wish I had a family cos when you don't there is nothing to do.

Hope you all have a lovely time with your loved ones.xxxxxxx

Yeah, i'm kinda feeling like that today too, so don't worry, you're not "alone" in that sense. I made myself shower and feel much better today for it.

All ive done today is put a wash on, and have beans and toast for brunch. Not much os inspiration for me today.

Hope everyone is having a lovely day :D

Well chicken in red wine smells wonderful but I think I put too much liquid in and not sure how to thicken it up. Haven't got any cornflour in - ah well we will see what it tastes like.

Hubbie has finished sorting pantry - he has put two extra shelves up and I must admit looks tons better! He is walking round now with a "I told you so " look on his face, looking very pleased with himself - ah bless!!!!:rotfl:

nic, take a few tbsps of mix out and mix with couple tbsps of normal plain flour and if you mix it in it should thicken up. Also leave the lid off the sc and turn it up to high *so my book says*
