I have a house FAK which is too extensive to mention, but my FAK that comes everywhere with me in my bag contains:

    Breathing
    1 x CPR kit

    Bleeding
    1 x Tourniquet
    1 x Hemostat
    4 x Wound Seal
    1 x Military Compression Bandage

    Bandages
    2 x Gauze Rolls
    1 x Roll tape
    2 x Gauze Pads (4"x4")
    4 x Gauze Pads (2"x2")
    4 x Adhesive Bandages (2"x4")
    2 x Steri-Strips (5 packs)

    Eyes
    1 x Clear eyes
    1 x Eye Patch Bandage

    Feet
    1 x Moleskin (3 3/8"x4 5/8")

    Protective
    6 x Nitrile Examination gloves
    1 x Purell Hand Sanitizer

There are various space blankets, glow sticks and torches in it too. The kit I keep in the house has everything you'd ever need.
  • What's in your CPR kit? Just curious

    Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker
Reading through some of these list's I might double check through our first aid kit (well medicine drawer). We have most stuff but think there might be odd bits we could do with adding - just incase!!

I also need to do one for my car, I think my OH's car has one in - need to check - but my car doesn't have one. Any recommendations for what to have in a car one? (or maybe with not reading all 5 pages I might of missed where it has prev been mentioned so apologies if this is the case).

Pretty much just Faceshield x 2 and wipes. And I have just added two epi-pens to my daily kit too.

I have a more comprehensive one in the house/car with airways kits and all the cool stuff, but it is a bit much to carry round in my bag.

    The house kit has
3 x Merlin Silicone re-usable resuscitators (adult, child & infant sizes)
Res-Q-Vac emergency hand-held aspirator (adult & paediatric attachments)
    7 Guedel airways (000 - 4 )
    Laryngoscope set (handle & 4 x Macintosh blades - sizes 1-4)
    Merlin E-Mask
2 x Magill Endotracheal forceps (adult & child sizes)
    Tough cut scissors
    Sharp bin
    Aerosol therapy set with mask
    Emergency foil blanket
    4 x ET tubes - cuffed (sizes 5.5mm, 7.5mm, 8mm & 8.5mm)
    Accident hammer
    Tytan sprague stethoscope
    Quick release tourniquet
    6 x disposable pen torches
    Spencer Wells forceps 5" straight
    Dressing scissors 5" sharp/sharp
3 pairs of nitrile gloves (sizes small, medium & large)
    IV giving set
  • You just need a unit of o neg flying squad blood & your pretty much there, oh and a de fib :D
