Thanks so much - I really can't express how grateful I am to you and all the other members, who take the time to offer sound advice and support. I feel so much better about this, and I know my OH does too! :)

    And not a problem :D;).

Just wishing you luck on all your reclaims and keep at them x:);)

  • Just wanted to mention that Royal Mail really are appalling! I sent off my four recorded-signed-for T&C letters on 11/04/11. RBS and Nationwide were delivered and signed for on 13/04/11. Royal Mail are still unable to confirm if Northern Rock and Egg received theirs. I've used their website and spoken to customer services! I've been told to wait 15 working days, and if it still hasn't been delivered, I can claim compensation. Doesn't fill you with hope when you've got something as important as these letters to send!

    Hiya

It is so annoying when the Royal Mail does not update now on a regular basis, we could rely on knowing before, but its been the same for me, and I end up either having to ring the Royal Mail or the business to whom the letters have been sent to - to check, it shouldn't have to be like this though.
    Good luck x

    Hi,
After sending our FOS questionnaire to Citi Finance in Bradford, 3 weeks ago, we have had it returned today by royal mail saying "addressee gone away".

I saw on the first page 2 addresses, one for citi group, and one for citi financial trading as citi cards.
This account was a loan,so kind of wondered which would be the best address to send to??

    MAny thanks

Sorry to hear that, but I have checked online by googling them and this address came up here.

    Citibank International plc
    Global Consumer Banking
    PO Box 49930
    London
    SE5 7XT

    http://www.citibank.co.uk/personal/banking/info/contactus/feedback/index.htm?merchant=citi

You could try ringing them first perhaps to make sure.
    Good luck.

    Hi,
I sent a letter to Santander, re my terms and conditions, (with £1 cheque) as I found an old statement and I have was being charged PPI on it and I don't ever remember agreeing to it (opened in 1996) anyway I sent it to a PO Box in Leeds 1st June and haven't heard anything back!
Anytime I phone the contact number I get through to an Indian Call Centre who say they can't help me!!
Does anyone have any other suggestions on how I can contact them?
    Thanks

    Hi there

Do you realise you can still make a reclaim even if you do not have hold of the agreement details?
As long as you know you were paying for ppi (which obviously you do as shown on your statement) and have reasons for being mis sold, then I would continue.

What tel number have you been trying?

    Check this out here?

    http://www.santander.co.uk/csgs/Satellite?appID=abbey.internet.Abbeycom&c=Page&canal=CABBEYCOM&cid=1210607168315&empr=Abbeycom&leng=en_GB&pagename=Abbeycom%2FPage%2FWC_ACOM_TemplateA2

    And for complaints here....

    http://www.santander.co.uk/csgs/Satellite?appID=abbey.internet.Abbeycom&c=Page&canal=CABBEYCOM&cid=1210607166846&empr=Abbeycom&leng=en_GB&pagename=Abbeycom%2FPage%2FWC_ACOM_TemplateA2

The above link also has the complaint address details of where to send your complaint.

All you do is complete the reclaim questionnaire as on step 3 below, keep copies for yourself as well, and send to the address shown in above link, allow 8 weeks for a decision, good luck.

The reclaim questionnaire is the same for loan ppi as credit card ppi.
