    putting it simply - NO

Checkout needs to be above £50 - and your delivery note needs to be too.

Incidentally has anybody ever had an order when they have been above the agreed amount at checkout but due to items being out of stock brought them under.
I always place my order for the qualifying amount, & usually change it a few times before delivery. I have found that if I go below say £50, I still get the points or money off. I haven't done this on purpose, even last week several items were not available & my shopping was £44,I still got £5 off

I always start an order with a couple of bottles of whisky to get to the minimum spend and remove them later!:D
You could cancel and reorder using the code.
Also, about items being out of stock. This happened to me once and when I rang up they agreed to credit me with the points as the original order was over the limit.

My slot is always booked with 3 bottles of brandy (just over £75 pounds worth in fact) as soon as the previous lot of shopping has been delivered. This allows me to use a £75 shop code. I then go in the day before my order is due delivery, remove the brandy and load up with the usual washing powder, loo rolls etc.

    Two things bother me
    1) what am I going to do with three bottles of brandy the time I forget to change my order and they actually turn up?

    2) Don't tesco have reporting systems on their website? Surely the fact that so many people order a load of spirits (see virtually every previous post on this page) and exchange them nearer the time for groceries should tell them there's something wrong with the design of their checkout system?

I'm new to .com and ordering like this had not occured to me - one thing that always put me off was trying to decide a week in advance what I wanted to buy, but I've done as suggested and pre-booked my Wednesday shop with 3 bottles of whisky, and will (hopefully remember to) change it Tuesday to what I actually want delivered.

Ipods have been giving 999 points, its not advertised though.
I think there is a TV for about £60 that is giving 999 points.

People have been buying the Ipods and selling on Ebay for easy points :)

Some stores have a 50 point voucher on the back of a flyer telling you about the changes to organic fruit and veg (some stores have a flyer without the voucher, but will accept the voucher if you find them in another store). Valid till 6th June I think, £2.00 spend required - and it still works with the multi but 5 for 4 offer on at the min.

It's funny how we all choose alcohol to pre book our delivery slots / claim our points.

I always put 4 bottles of expensive vodka - I would say it must play havoc with Tesco's stock control system, but judging by the number of times I receive substitutions or non deliveries, I don't think they have such a thing!!!!!!!!

One time they did actually turn up. After I had recovered from the shock I just sent them back with the driver.
