There was stacks of leaflets in my local Tesco, they were all to be found next to the tills with the insurance/mobile phone leaflets etc.I should try looking there.

In my Tesco they were in a really random place. They were in a leaflet dispenser at the end of the crisps aisle - miles away from the fruit and veg section! The leaflet dispenser actually said Tesco Finance on it and had nothing to do with the leaflets!

The leaflets are blue and green and say "Look Out For Organic" across the top. Note that the vouchers are on the reverse of the leaflets, which makes them harder to spot.

It was me that posted about the 50 point organic veg leaflets - have to say as an R&Rer I frequent quite a few different Tesco stores, and I have only seen these in one. All the others have the leaflet but with a different blurb on the back - but I have found that any store will accept them, so if you do find them, take a few for your purse/wallet.

    2) Don't tesco have reporting systems on their website? Surely the fact that so many people order a load of spirits (see virtually every previous post on this page) and exchange them nearer the time for groceries should tell them there's something wrong with the design of their checkout system?

Although the Tescos website appears to be swimming along, with a degree of serenity when you visit it, I suspect that beneath the surface there is either a feverish amount of activity, or (and more likely), they've given up trying to attach points to accounts, and tend to be driven by customer complaints.

A good example of this would be that, for instance, your online wine invoice number will be different from the invoice number attached to your receipt when your order is delivered. In addition, it is crucial to take a hardcopy print of your online order, just before you pay for it. If you don't, you will NEVER be able to show what price you were expecting to pay, and what extra bonus points/discount should have been applied, as this vital info is entirely lost when you enter your payment details.

I have now lost count of the number of times that I have been either overcharged or not had bonus points/discount applied when my order has turned up. The store that delivers and charges me for my order has no access to the "deal" that I originally signed up to - the only record that exisits is my printout of the original transaction.

Just to make things worse, bonus points on wine sales take an extra 28 days to show up on your Clubcard statement. Since this "statement" is not itemised, in order to balance it you need to keep a list of all your purchases at Tesco. Frankly, this is more trouble than it's worth, but it really, really irks me that 1)All errors seem to be in their favour and 2)Although 1000 points off £100 may not seem to be a fortune, it's still worth £40 in Clubcard deals, which is an amount that shouldn't just be ignored.

hello folks, ive been reading these posts and other forums etc. Im quite excited about registering with tesco.com online. As there are some great deals with the points and money of groceries, etc. (codes, voushers etc.)

My main concern is what Ive been reading about codes not working when you purchase your goods. When should the points show up on your account, can you look at how many points you have in total. what if the code dont work can you type another one in or retract your sale.

I usually shop at the store and am only doing this to gain points.

    Thanks for help.

    Hi
This is probably in the wrong place-apologies if it is!

My partner and I both have clubcards and wanted to combine our vouchers together for a clubcard deal(possibly a holiday or something else to treat ourselves), can you do this? Bearing in mind that the vouchers we have already have different names and clubcard account numbers on them

Have phoned clubcard but didn't get much sense, they kept talking about airmiles which isnt what we want!

    Thanks for the help

Whilst it's true that some grocery codes don't always work and sometimes a message will come up at the checkout screen - for example "code used maximum amount of times". There appears to be some debate as to why this is as people in other areas can still use the same code successfully leading some to claim that codes are region related. Having said that there are generally enough codes around to keep trying dependent on what you prefer ie. money off, or extra clubcard points (the latter being a bit thin on the ground these days). If a code is not accepted you can keep entering codes until one goes through.

On grocery orders it takes two days for the points to be added, wine orders are different and you only need to read this forum to see how many problems people are having with these. Personally, having had a bad experience with a wine order I leave well alone and stick to grocery orders only and I've never had a problem either getting a code accepted (sometimes need to try a couple, but not often) or having my points added within two days. You can check your points balance no problem on the Tesco website - you'll need to log in with your registered e-mail address/password - homepage, bottom left - under clubcard blurb - 'check my balance'. Hope this all helps.

If you buy alcohol and cigarettes with your grocery shop can this amount be part of the final cost of shopping to qualify for your ecoupon. eg spend £50 get 1000 points

Hi Valleylass. I asked exactly the same question via email. Here is my reply. Hope it helps you.

    Hello Vicky,

Thank you for your enquiry regarding Holiday Tokens.

I can confirm that providing all the family members are registered at the same address and have the same surname, we can accept all their Vouchers towards Clubcard Deals Holiday Tokens.

I hope this answers your query. If you need any further assistance, please let us know.

    Kind Regards,
