Just logged in to update my orders and the website seems to have a new format - I dont like it at all! You cant see the expiry dates for your banked codes and it hasnt selected the highest value code for me!

What does anyone else think of it?

If you put in (say 5 bottles of malt whiskey!) to save your delivery slot and code, how close to the delivery slot can you change the order? Is it 24 hours?

I generally have until 4am on the day of delivery to update my order.

    putting it simply - NO

Checkout needs to be above £50 - and your delivery note needs to be too.

Incidentally has anybody ever had an order when they have been above the agreed amount at checkout but due to items being out of stock brought them under.

I thought that was just voucher codes for extra points that you have to make well about the £50 so that the final cost after bogoffs and things still ends above £50?

Have they changed the rules now?
    Thanx

Sometimes its a bit hard to judge - I find you have to keep a note of your bogofs, multibuys etc, then add a bit more on just in case stuff is out of stock on the day, so I always seem to end up spending quite a bit over the minimum, just to make sure I don't lose my points!

Does anyone else know if they have changed the voucher rules for money off codes to same as the extra points ones for sure?

I really don't like having to guess whats going to be taken off after bogoffs and out of stock items it can be quite impossible because how are we supposed to know whats not going to be in stock. I spent far too much more when I tried to get a points code once for an over £50 spend. I ended up spending about £78 and that was after stuff taken off. I just don't like the guessing game. If they are changing the money off codes to be the same way I don't think I'll bother

I have been refused the last 2 times for codes so I am wondering if this is why, they never actually told me why but I did get them refunded once I rang to give them the source
    Thanx

    Just a FYI,

I wanted to use a 1000/£75 spend code so I entered it in my bank. It was accepted fine. I then created my order and added about £40 worth of shopping (normal weekly amount) and then checked out because I wanted to book my delivery slot.
At the time it said that my code was not valid BUT WAS THE ONLY CODE STILL SITTING IN MY BANK. I was planning to add another £40 worth of shopping to get it over £75 and so a day later I did this.

Ah - I thought, now the site will be clever and realise that the qualifying spend had been attained and will automatically use the best (and in this case only) code in my bank.

    WRONG!!!

I wrote to CS about this but they just said 'sorry, you have to reach the qualifying spend for the code to work on the INITIAL order' . I was then told I could reuse the code on my next order.

I pointed out to CS that the code will expire before my next order, that I would not have increased my order from the normal £40 if I was not getting the code points, and that the website does not allow for you to enter codes or change codes once you have checked out the first time etc but no joy.

So I now have loads of extra goods etc pileing up in my garage and no points to show for it!

Hopefully this message will save anyone else making the same mistake.

What I will do in future is put down £100 worth of nappies or something in my inital order to make sure all codes are valid and used, then remove them once I have finally finished tinkering with the order. I know what will happen though, one day I'll forget to remove the nappies...... :rotfl:

or Tesco could just sort their website out......

I always start an order with a couple of bottles of whisky to get to the minimum spend and remove them later!:D
You could cancel and reorder using the code.
Also, about items being out of stock. This happened to me once and when I rang up they agreed to credit me with the points as the original order was over the limit.
