you would have to pay 2 delivery costs but 1000 points is worth £10 or £40 if converted to deals so might be a good idea:j :j :j :j Thanks to all the MSE members for helping me out with coupons and vouchers :A :A :A :A :A0

The last 2 deliveries I have had have been rejected £5 off £50 codes I am absolutely fed up of this because both times I have rang and got the money refunded once they checked the source of the code but it was not that straight forward. These were valid codes yet it seems they are just rejecting them willy nilly
Also the second time I had to call I pressed the wrong digit and got through to wines. I have always talked to grocery online section but the lady said it was ok she could still deal with it even though it was wine section. Goodness she was terrible really possitively rude and I sympathize with people trying to get things sorted with thier wine problems if she is anything to go by I can see why. I think being on that section seems to make them very nasty and I know people on here constantly speak of having much more difficulty getting codes through on wineThanx

Just a FYI,
I wanted to use a 1000/£75 spend code so I entered it in my bank. It was accepted fine. I then created my order and added about £40 worth of shopping (normal weekly amount) and then checked out because I wanted to book my delivery slot.
At the time it said that my code was not valid BUT WAS THE ONLY CODE STILL SITTING IN MY BANK. I was planning to add another £40 worth of shopping to get it over £75 and so a day later I did this.
Ah - I thought, now the site will be clever and realise that the qualifying spend had been attained and will automatically use the best (and in this case only) code in my bank.
WRONG!!!
I wrote to CS about this but they just said 'sorry, you have to reach the qualifying spend for the code to work on the INITIAL order' . I was then told I could reuse the code on my next order.
I pointed out to CS that the code will expire before my next order, that I would not have increased my order from the normal £40 if I was not getting the code points, and that the website does not allow for you to enter codes or change codes once you have checked out the first time etc but no joy.
So I now have loads of extra goods etc pileing up in my garage and no points to show for it!
Hopefully this message will save anyone else making the same mistake.
What I will do in future is put down £100 worth of nappies or something in my inital order to make sure all codes are valid and used, then remove them once I have finally finished tinkering with the order. I know what will happen though, one day I'll forget to remove the nappies...... :rotfl:
or Tesco could just sort their website out...... :eek:0 -
I still haven't received my vouchers yet but my points have been taken from my account. Have you received yours?0

I have a 10% off electricals, but it comes up as " unfortunatly this code is not recognized"
anyone else had one like this.
rang them up and they suggested i ring electricals and place my order.
they "may" accept it
Why give me a code in the " we hope you find these coupons useful" if they wont accept it.
if i ring it through i miss out on my quidco cashback0 -

Lots of people havent received them yet, they've only just started sending them out.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

I usually add some cases of lager to my order so that I can get a delivery slot and then go back into the order and change it nearer the delivery date.
Does anybody else have a problem trying to get a delivery slot?
I have to reserve my slot on a Sunday for a Thursday/Friday delivery.0 -
5 bottles of malt whisky in mine every week usually secures my code and my order
I then go back and just remove them and "continue shopping", that way I secure the delivery date without the hassle of thinking about what I want for that week."Sumptus censum ne superet"
