Basically you load the card up with money once a month and you then get double points on what you spend. Good for budgeting too.0 -
Just wondered if anyone could possibly tell me-
Is there any limit to the number of times you can use extra points codes on Tesco.com (different ones) or can they be used as often as money off codes, which I use every time I shop. (when available)
Thankyou0 -

Tesco.com has a different policy to that of shopping in the "real world". They will only offer you the difference back. Get down to your local store and buy the items in question and get a full r and r.0 -
P.S What was it??????????????????0

Last summer Tesco's had a few very good offers, 1st one was extra points on organic burgers/chips(cant remember exactly how many) and then the famous Birdseye beef offer:T you bought 3 packs of beef for £2.97 and you got 150 points:p had beef/burgers and chips for months:D . Also took out a few life insurance policies as they gave you 4500 points for each, so for £60 you got £180.0

I learned something today that might shed light on why it is that when you make a wine order it seems to takes weeks/months before extra points are credited whereas with grocery orders the extra points are credited within a couple of days. Customer Services told me that, for wine orders, nothing happens until after the expiry date of the particular promotion code. Then the promotional team responsible for offering that code collect all details of all orders using that code and, in batches, begin to credit the respective accounts. Therefore, if you want to keep an accurate check on whether you have been credited with the extra points related to wine orders, you should keep a record of the expiry date of the code you use and then check your clubcard points account balance shortly afterwards to see if your extra points have been credited. If not credited within 10 days of code expiry date then a call to customer services with all info should ensure satisfaction.0

This is good info - thanks.
However I have to be cynical about this advice... if you read back through the posts, we have all had varying information about how this works. I was told that wine points are added the day before the cut-off date for each quarter.
Just be careful, because they don't seem to have a consistent policy.0
