I also received the Wine Club mailing yesterday and whilst there was only one 500 point voucher through tesco.com, there were several vouchers to use in store which would add up to about 1000 points overall and we can all look forward to receiving our May vouchers pretty soon.

I received my mailing too (after not getting the last one for some reason). Only 100 point offers for purchases in store - not even one miserly 500 point voucher for tesco.com. I will have to start doing my bulk purchases through Majestic or Laithwaites again if this continues.

I'm sure many people have already mentioned it, but if you have a discount code for either points or cash, print a copy of your order BEFORE you enter your card details. You'll frequently find that when the order arrives, it's been charged completely differently. If you don't print the order before you enter your card details, you'll find that your "stored order details" will often not show either discount or points.

Just posted this on the codes thread:

    ---
Just came through with a tesco.com mailing
"You scratch our backs we'll revitalise yours"

    XX-59PG - Double points - Min Spend £90

    Expires 27th May 2006.

I hope this is not the shape of things to come - 90 extra points for a £90+ spend .... better off using the cash codes.

Anyone seen any better ones with all these mailings arriving through the door at the moment - or are the good times over? :-(

Hi - newbie to Tesco.com here - how long does it take after delivery of your home shopping order for the points to show on your clubcard statement? I had a delivery yesterday, the points are not showing yet, and I desparately need them on the statement before the May mailing so I can buy my OH's birthday pressie (May 27th!!)??

On normal grocery shopping my points always go on two days after I have had the delivery.

As far as I know the cut off date for the points was Sunday, so if that is the case you are unlikely to get the points added for the May mailing.

OK, thanks. I asked Tescos and they said the mailings go out over a period of three weeks so they couldn't give me a definate date when I would receive them. I thought the cutoff would be related to when they posted your mailing out, but maybe not. Oh well, I might just about scrape enough points as it is, so these will just roll over to next time....

    All,

I am an avid tesco point collector and have been really keen this quarter. I know that the cut-off was sunday, so why hasnt my balance gone to nil when I check my online tesco points account? In fact, it has gone up to include some points from last week (flights I booked through the tesco Lastminute.com portal).

I am really panicking that they may not be sending my points out... which I am dependent on to book the hotel to go with the flights above! To be fair, the hol isnt until december, but I need to book the hotel now or I will drive myself mad with the waiting!

    Can anyone advise? Thanks.

Okay sorry, I understand everyone's complaint against me only spending £6.77. I use vouchers instore and so am fully aware of not abusing the system so that it will get stopped. The reason I only spent so little was because I had just done a big shop in tesco and at the time didn't know you could get additional points if you shopped online. I decided to try and get the additional points before the cut off date (I want to go to Blackpool soon) meaning I couldn't wait for this month when I would do my usual big shop. I suppose I just got over excited, just like when I discovered tesco accepts money off vouchers and used too many the first couple of times :o

Daisy - whilst I'm not in favour of abusing the system, can I just say how good it is that you have come back on and explained yourself, without the need to try and defend it. Takes guts that!

In my experience Action Girl, you will not notice your points reduced until well into May, in fact just before you receive your vouchers and any earned since the cut off date will remain, so your account won't necessarily go to nil. I always look forward to seeing them disappear as I know it won't be long before the vouchers arrive. Hope this helps.
