SUPERJULES wrote:I used the code and spent over £50, but has anyone considered that maybe daisy thought that you actually did only get 100 points and not a 1000 points.
So it may have been a surprise to her??
Yes, I agree, that that could be a possibility but she reads this site and only ordered 3 bottles of Domestos (£2) and then other items totalling 28p (or 78p depending on the delivery charge).
How desperate would anyone be to have Domestos delivered and pay £3.99 or £4.49 for it to be delivered?
Don't get me wrong, I'm an avid points collector but I think this is taking it a bit too far.0 -
I used this code on a delivery I got today for a normal £80 weekly shop. I went on blogspot to see if there was one I could use next week (there wasn't) and found that it had been posted there recently. However, someone has already left a comment that they tried it and it was rejected as over used.0

I just got my shopping delivered and the code worked so got 1000 points. I did spend nearly £100 though not £6.77. The codes will stop if people continue to abuse it, really annoying.:hello:0

annoying, i didn't get the points, not even 100 points, with my £35.73 order.
Also, tesco is terrible! The driver sent me a lot of staff I didn't order, of course, all very expensive. It built up my bill from the original £35.73 into £48.11. I was so angry, I handed some goods back to the driver.
I believed my final bill should be £24.53. However, they charged me £48.11 without any bonus points. I called and they said they would refund me £23.58 in 14 days. But how could they retain my money for such a long period?! I won't trust tesco next time

Well what do you expect when people (i.e. the £6.77 person) are abusing the system? Its people like that who we should thank for spoiling it for everyone.0 -
Good point!
But i also believe that TESCO is not a perfect merchant. It's not a good reason to retain customer's money for two weeks.
I'd better go back to sainsbury.0 -

Just wondering which particular staff you were sent.
If it was shelf stackers, they could put your shopping away for you, or if it was customer service staff you could complain to them about the service!

Were the 100 points confirmed on completion of your order? Therefore why were they not on the delivery note? I may be tempted to press the matter as this code was issued with the Food Club mailing and was for general use as far as I know (the fact that it was misprinted and is actually for 1000 points is beside the point).
Anyway, I've totally exhausted all of the grocery codes and had to resort to using a money off code last week. I got the £15 off a £100 shop, which lets face it is much better than a poke in the eye with a pointy stick, but I would still prefer points as we use them to get an annual city break. I also received the Wine Club mailing yesterday and whilst there was only one 500 point voucher through tesco.com, there were several vouchers to use in store which would add up to about 1000 points overall and we can all look forward to receiving our May vouchers pretty soon.0
