Morning AM, it could well be a 1 off... I know Aimee slept for about 8hrs on her 3rd night... Never did it again after lol... I wouldn't worry too much as long as he is waking for a feed in the night and not sleeping the whole night through... Maybe he was just enjoying the quiet after all the noise in the hospital...
Make the most of your OH... Recon he'll get bored soon? lolA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

he really wants to find out sex of the baby when we go for next scan. i really dont want to. but then he said that it feels to him like i am making all the decisions and that its 'my baby' and not 'our baby'. felt awful, so think i may have to compromise on this one. so if we found out the sex and not tell a soul (not even on here) how easy a secret would it be to keep for 20 weeks??
has anyone previously managed to do just that??
thanks
one of my good friends has had a secret sexing scan so her OH doesn't even know that she knows
and I have known since 31 weeks and my OH doesn't know (well he thinks I've made it obvious and its a girl :rotfl:)
Why don't you let him find out and see how long he can keep it a secret or if u can afford it do what we did and find out later by private scan so its easier to keep a secret0 -
AM - sounds like your OH really is smitten with his lil boy! :A
I have a feeling my OH will 'dote' on this bubs as in will prefer looking after a baby that doesn't do much and leave the nosey, cheeky toddler to me0 -

I think AF's hubby knew what they were having and managed to never let slip to her what it was... But it must of taken him a lot of effort!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Jillie I can sort of see his point... I've been SO careful to make sure DH feels part of this pregnancy and our decisions are joint ones. We both know that ultimately any choice is mine, but I do try and make sure it never feels like that for him. He's someone who's used to being in control of things though, that's just the nature of his job and how he is and at home I rule the roost, but being as this is his baby he'd struggle not having at least SOME illusion of control
Knowing the sex is probably not actually that important to him but the fact that he feels like he has no control at all is probably what is really at the bottom of this
Personally I'd suggest that they can tell him but he's not allowed to tell you - then he'll know something you don't and that will probably be enough to make him feel part of things again...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

I'm so tired again! For some reason last night, I was rolling over in my sleep and hubby lurched over in the bed and grabbed me, convinced I was falling out of the bed... That was it then, he'd disturbed me enough that when he started off on his comedy snoring, I couldn't get deep enough asleep to sleep through him... Then he had a hissy fit because I kept asking him to roll over... Honestly, I don't know why he's suddenly started snoring but I'm sure he never used to be this bad!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... As for my break - it's just for a wee while ladies :rotfl: I just needed a break and after ending up in the DAU nearly 2 weeks ago because the baby's heartbeat was raised DH has got really strict about me stressing! And I was starting to stress about the boards and some of the incidents so I was told in no uncertain terms that I was to chill out or he'd take the laptops with him to work... ALL of them! (he knows taking the wireless router would be pointless - I could have another here in 30 mins or just log on to one of the other ones in the cul-de-sac - being as I set most of them up I have the log in details hehehehe)
It is nice to see the garden looking at little tidier and we're making progress with getting the allotment association up and running so I'll have an allotment in the next oooo 2 weeks max
It'll all be late crops this year but I can live with that - the farmer we've rented the field off has not only cleared it, ploughed it and then run this funky thing over it to break the lumps down and it's 90% ready to just start planting in bless him! No need for serious digging, not need for rotivating and all we need to do is really clear a few rocks (small ones) and peg out the plots - so I'm getting very excitedDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Morning all,
You are making the right decision Tine - step back a bit and look after number 1 and number 2 (not meant to sound like your morning toilet routine!)!Proud mother of twin boys - double the trouble and twice the pleasure! :T0 -
Been reading and a few posts are saying you have to take your own bottles in to hospital, well in home bargains they have the tommee tippee steri bottles for 99p for a pack of 4, may be usefull as they just get thrown away after use.0

Can anyone recommend a v shaped pillow for me please? Have just been using cushions to put a barrier between hubby and I during the night but have read that they are extra useful as an aid for breastfeeding twins. The range of prices is huge - which ones have you gals found to be good ones?Proud mother of twin boys - double the trouble and twice the pleasure! :T0
