I want roo to be engaged... she feels like she's started to engage and on thursday she was sat with her head just above my pubic bone where she should be... (just happy she turned herself!) I'd love to know if she's engaged at all though *sigh* earliest I'll find out is a week from today when I go for my 38 week appointment with the GP... I hate the fact that we only get to see someone every 2 weeks at this stage :( For goodness sakes I'm less than 3 weeks from being due - you'd think they might wanna keep an eye on a weekly basis! *sulk*

My midwife asked me if I wanted to go back in 1 week or 2... Seeing as I don't like her.. I chose 2 lol..

Have been today and collected the baby swing http://www.preciouslittleone.com/acatalog/FPSMART3in1.html this one for all those that missed my earlier post... Had a bit of a laugh really... When we got to the house I realised we hadn't been to the cash point so I had to borrow £20 off my Aunt and a quick scab around my purse and handbag turned up another £4.84.. I took a chance, and they let me off the 16p... But then we had to get it in the car... Which is a megane convertable... We had to take the back off the seat to fit it in the boot because the frame wouldn't go in at all... And we ended up opening the roof to get the frame in the back of the car because the door space was too small... Thankfully it fitted in and the roof closed over it again... It was raining! I'm ever so pleased with it, it's all lovely and immaculate condition... Can't wait until our little baby is sitting in it!

Ooh, and I offered to have my friends daughter round to play for a couple of hours tonight, her son is in respite so she can have a bit of time to herself... She just rang to say she'll fetch the girls from school and drop them off with a Happy meal each... Seeing as I forgot to get the pork chops out of the freezer and hubby got paid today, might get him to stop at the chippy on his way home, then I won't have to mess up the kitchen at all today :D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Hey,
Just a quick question - spoke to receptionist at doc's surgery last week who confirmed the positive result they'd got back. She said doc would take a look then refer me, and then someone would be in touch. All sounded a bit vague! Just wondered when i should be expecting to see/hear from someone?

Aims for 2010 - be a good mummy, lose (some) weight, clear (some) debts, be happy :D

Sami, my OH was not interested with my first 2 pregnancies but this time has been to scans and most appointments with me but flatly refuses to go to any classes. He is however very keen to get bubs room sorted, we are being given a cot bed but last night he said he wanted to go and buy one this weekend just so the room would be finished :rotfl:.
hmm so 3 is the magic number  maybe this one won't be my last :D
I wish my OH was so keen to get everything ready!! The most annoying thing for me is that the way things are right now I can't realistically have the home birth that I want!!
Chris is hopefully going away for 2 nights this weekend with my 'rent's in caravan so hopefully we can have one couple night and go out for a meal and or cinema and that will cheer him up enough to get things straight!

Ive another q, Ive more than half packed my bag now:T but it is brimming, have put nappies and some bits in my boots changing bag but think i still need more space. What type of bags is everyone else using?? is my bag(kinda carry-on size)and a changing bag not enough.. might only be in there 1 day so dont want to go overboard
You crazy lady :p those feasters look vile IMO
When I had Chris I took a small trolley case that was bigger than carry on size and a holdall but still needed things to be brought in for me, I'm hoping to get my stuff into just a carry on sized trolley case this time as its just for emergency.
how many nappies are you taking? I usually say 1 pack for ease but 1/2 a pack will be fine for the first 24hrs and you'll get a few samples in ur bounty bag plus most hosps provide nappies (although some meanies don't)

Sorry for your loss Iheartfreebies. I hope it works out for you. Thank you for posting your story. It is useful to read about these things and no doubt offers comfort to others in similar situations.
I am still waiting to hear from my SIL who was having another early scan this afternoon as she had been bleeding since Sunday. Keeping fingers crossed.

Greent - just remember that staying together for the kids can be just as bad for them as splitting. I'm not saying just give up etc but don't stay together if its not what YOU want/need xxx

I'd say at a guess chase them after a week or 2 depending how far gone you are?
You should really see a MW by 10weeks at latest if possible

    ((hugs)) for greent and Iheartfreebies.

Well my ECV didnt work...sux. I was monitored for 30 mins and agreed I was suitable for an ECV.:D Dr started pushing baby, baby pushed back, so Dr tried pshing baby round the other way and baby pushed back. After 15 minutes of this Dr said that my baby didnt want to turn and that we should now consider a breech birth or c Section. So I have been booked in with a consultant for Thursday to book a C section as baby was 7lbs last week.

Me and OH have agreed to try and get things moving if possible asap before Csection date for a natural delivery.... but if that doesnt work we will go with the C section... oh well.
