hmm I might have a flick through FQ when I'm next shopping and see what it's like, OH tends to only get nuts type mags- boobs, gross injuries and sport
I do feel I'm doing it all alone sometimes
At least when I was preg with Chris he would rub my bump with lotion everyday n rub my feet etc but it seams that now we're married he doesn't 'have' to make the effort and prefers to tell me how much my outtie belly button freaks him out - yeah thanks!
Well I'm off for a shower coz Chris has fallen asleep *tries to run but looks more like a slug in slow motion*

Hi all. hope eveyone is well x
Hugs geent, have no experience of what you are going through but as others have said we are always here ti listen, look after yourself.
tarajayne, hope all goes well for DD1, thinking of you.
sparkle, Lexi is so cute, looking forward to bs.
Sami, my OH was not interested with my first 2 pregnancies but this time has been to scans and most appointments with me but flatly refuses to go to any classes. He is however very keen to get bubs room sorted, we are being given a cot bed but last night he said he wanted to go and buy one this weekend just so the room would be finished :rotfl:.DS 16/04/1989DD 22/02/1994:TDS 07/08/2009:j0 -
Candice - did you really think it would be nice?

Yes
Ive another q, Ive more than half packed my bag now:T but it is brimming, have put nappies and some bits in my boots changing bag but think i still need more space. What type of bags is everyone else using?? is my bag(kinda carry-on size)and a changing bag not enough.. might only be in there 1 day so dont want to go overboard:j

Sparkle - don't be daft
Lovely photos
Beautiful baby - enjoy & feel rightly proud x
Thanks, peeps. Have just eaten a piece of toast - 1st thing in 24 hours - but it's stuck halfway down, it feels like - not convinced it's going to stay down
have been in garage attic and got baby clothes/ stuff down (boxed when we had builders in) - all washed and on line ready to iron later. Not nesting - being practical.
I thought I was used to the idea of this one being a boy - but was bawling my eyes out at that last night - I want a mini me, not a mini OH (both DSs are mini hims) I am so scared I won't bond with this one, just like with DS1.
I'm a soggy wreck right now - need to get my act together & hit tile shop & b&q - don't want to, though.
thanks again xx
eta: on the subject of OHs and involvement, mine doesn't like touching bump at all - isn't interested in stuff and was f**k all support when I had my CVS back in Nov. Not sure why I'm even contemplating him being here - but I have 3 kids already that would be devastated and theya re the total innocents in all this and the big 2 would really suffer. we've also got a holiday booked for July to FranceI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £20

OH seemed excited (and shocked) by the bfp but not about the pregnancy but then went to bed early last night when i got up this morning i found the Emma's diary thing that the dr gave me open to the medical bit on the 1st trimester ... maybe he is more interested than i gave him credit.0

Afternoon ladies,
Back at work today and I don't know whether it was because I heard bean's heartbeat yesterday but baby seems to be kicking a lot today! Which is reassuring.
OH came home from work and cried to me because he was so stressed. He's doing two people's work and has been since Dec, when they made some redundant, for no more money. Felt really bad to see a grown man cry and there was nothing I could do to help him apart from say it would be alright.
Also, found out my SIL2B in July is 8 weeks pregnant, so that means all 3 of my mum's children will give her a grandchild this year. Don't think we could have timed that better if we'd tried!

Think this is one time you can forget the 'to do' list, just concentrate on you, bring out the comfort blanket and hide under it for a bit xx:j

Thanks MrsA. I think we need a holiday!
I've just read on a Pampers newsletter I get that I should give my MATB1 form to my employer no later than 25 weeks but I'm only seeing my GP at 25wks and not the MW until 28wk. Should i mention this to someone? Apparently it's all to do with making sure I get my statutory pay sorted.
