I'm a soggy wreck right now - need to get my act together & hit tile shop & b&q - don't want to, though.
Think this is one time you can forget the 'to do' list, just concentrate on you, bring out the comfort blanket and hide under it for a bit xx:j

Thanks MrsA. I think we need a holiday!
I've just read on a Pampers newsletter I get that I should give my MATB1 form to my employer no later than 25 weeks but I'm only seeing my GP at 25wks and not the MW until 28wk. Should i mention this to someone? Apparently it's all to do with making sure I get my statutory pay sorted.

Oh and a hoilday sounds like a great idea!0

When did you get yours, Mrs A? Was it from the Midwife or GP?0

Bear, I didnt get mine until 28 wks and told my work i wasnt due to see mw until after 25wks, they were fine with it as it is a smaller company.
Check with your work first, if its not a big company then they will prob be happy to wait a bit.:j

I can't remember when I got my Mat1B form but you if you are over 20 weeks you could call the surgery and ask them for it I guess
They definitely don't give it until after 20 weeks.

Did anyone see LK today? some snooty woman was on there talking about women are no longer yummy mummies but slummy mummies. other mums were on there defending so called slummy mummies. Saying they are too busy with house work and actually caring for the baby/children to doll up for there husband. I was most offended her reply to that was if your so busy running around being a mum and doing housework then you wouldn't be over weight and still carrying your baby fat  Is this woman for real? She prob has a nanny or staff. She actually said if we continue to not to make an effort to be slim, wear nice clothes and have make up on and prob the dinner on the table then our hubbys will leave us or have affairs.
She said slummy mummies make slummy children. Well i am sorry but i am a slummy mummie then in her eyes. i work blooming hard looking after the house and caring for my ds and trying to set up a little business from home. My hubby comes home and some times i am already in my pj's :rotfl:If i dolled up for him everyday just for when he came home he would think i was the one having an affair. This is my signature!0
