I've just got a sample of Bepanthan through the post from the Freebies board here - that can go into my baby box incase it's needed!

Got bloody heartburn now ~ serves me right for scoffing a bacon and egg toastie before :rolleyes:


Nearly got my bags sorted now. I've got a bag together with an outfit for me and an outfit for baby for coming home in. I'll leave that in the boot of the car with the carseat.

Will be putting in cartons of Ribena & some snickers in for Steve once shopping is delivered tomorrow.

I know I need deodorant, a brush and some bobbles/clips but is there anything else I've forgotten which is a MUST?

You have to give consent though so they can;t make you do anything. That's what annoys me, that they make people think they 'have' to do something when it is the mum's choice. If you want drops, have drops!

well thats funny as i just rung them and they said that as im still classes as working i just gotta work out how much i'll get for the year ... so are we getting told something different x

I can't stand up! I went to make DS1's bed and bent forward and a pain ripped across my lower back. Now I can't stand up. Had to crawl downstairs! It hurts a lot think I've pulled a muscle. And of course, I'm home alone.

you're not being told different you are being told about 2 different aspects
You will be classed as employed therefore get WTC
but they don't count the money as earnings

Searching - just catching up but the DS games... Instead of buying the games get one of the cartridges you can load games on to... SOOOOO much cheaper One of my neighbours sell them for I think it's £25 plus a £10 for 10 games that includes everything you need to get more games on the memory card if you use your head a little to find them online You can probably fit about mmmm 40 + games on a 2gb card Just a thought

Wow - I had heard they were about £60! OH wants one

I bought him some games for xmas from eBay. Got a few for 99p - bargain!
I've only got cooking guide which is parp, brain train (boring!) and professor layton which I've completed. We play Mario Kart and Mario and Sonic at the Olympics against each other - now that's fun!!
