    Hi guys,

Not been on here for a while but just wanted to say my little baby girl was born yesterday, on her due date, at 3.11pm weighing 9lb 5oz!!! I'm so proud and happy - but it will take me a while to get back into debt busting routine!
    Congratulations!! :D

    Hi DFB's

Sorry I haven't posted recently. Everyone is doing really well :T. I need to get back into clearing that Barclaycard!!

To get my motivation up, I am going to have a frantic 30 day card clearing challenge. I need to clear my card by the end of Monday 8th June.

Better get some sleep so I can concentrate on my challenge :D.

Know what you mean.. sometimes you need a bit of time in non-MSE land :D

I don't think I'm near by target DFD at the moment but hopefullt the 0% balance transfer card I have coming through will help a little. Still don't know anything about the limit I have, and haven't even been officially told I've been accepted. Just received the PIN for the card. Still baffled:confused: I may call them tomorrow just to clear up what's happening as it's a free phone number :D

I know this is really sad but I updated my totals and amount paid off and stuff and realised that if I paid an extra £7 off my credit card it would round off the amount I owed to £5580 (I like round numbers!) but even better...it made the amount I had paid off £1234! 1.2.3.4 Ok I know. Sad. But it made me smile!:rotfl:

That's the kind of thing that makes me happy too :D Once I had rounded down my Barclaycard to a round number, I couldn't add an amount with pence to it - whole pounds or nothing!

I have been doing really well with the moneysaving - I get paid on the 23rd and should have at least £40 of my grocery budget left, so that will be going to savings for the eventual overpayment of the loan. Or to my dentist as my face aches I%20need%20a%20hug%20smiley.gif On the plus side, I have NHS dental cover, so I always get the money back I pay out to them :j

    Congratulations Panambi, that's wonderful news!

I'm on target to meet Lloyds F&F offer which is fab news, but it means I have only been paying min to CC which is driving me mad! I never imagined I could be sooo impatient to make CC payments! Plus I have had to lodge an official complaint against Lloyds as they seem unable to update my address despite several letters from me and insist on sending correspondence to my old address  have tried to sort it so many times but they just seem so incompetent - eg I sent them yet another letter with all my details and they wrote back asking me to provide my account number, sort code and surname, enclosing a copy of my letter which clearly stated all three?! I highlighted them and sent the letter back, only to receive another letter asking for my credit card number when I have told them on several occasions that the account is a loan! Luckily it has gotten so ridiculous now that I can see the funny side but I was really looking forward to being rid of them so am a little frustrated-

Would you believe as I was typing, a letter has landed on the doormat saying they are sorry but tough, basically. As I was reading that my darling kitty decided to have a wee on the extension cable behind the TV and trip out all the electric! One of the nine lives gone there! (Kitty is fine. Extension cable not fine). Think I'd better go...
