Morning all!
poppyjoe you're added to the list
Well done for admitting the the debts you have, we will do as much as we can to support you to clear them :T0 -
Awww thanks everyone especially hopeful, flying_fresian and LondonAndy. I think you are right LondonAndy it is like a little bit of relief to get it over and done with. The light bulb has been flickering for over a year but it is only since finding the PAD thread that I have actually started tackling our debts.
So £10 free scratchcard money cleared in my account this morning so that is going straight to it :T and OH ordered new mobile so £60 quidco :j has already tracked. OH is also going to try and get some self employed work, he is a web/graphic designer and has a few jobs that might come through so that would really start to knock down the debt.
So thank you thank you thank you for making this a real possibility for me. When we are credit card free we can save to move home and have another baby! Don't want much do I?! :rotfl:0 -
PoppyJoe it sounds like you are making great progress - and a positive goal at the end of it like new house and baby will hopefully keep you on track!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hey Sarah,
Well done you for making another payment :j I'm a fully paid up PADder, so this thread would be massive if I posted all my payments :rotfl:
I may have had a small DFW setback, but all should be clear in a few days, more details in my diary if you want to comment, I need advice!

FF - I know you work in the same sort of industry as me - I'm after a job with the regulator at Canary Wharf - they are recruiting massively at the moment and I think it would be a great time to join them as they have lots of work to do methinks! Long recruitment process but fingers crossed!
Great news on the Quidco coming your way. They're good on the mobile cashback!

Hi all :hello:
No major excitement on the DFB front for me this week.
I seem to have been accepted for a 0% Virgin Card so hopefully will be able to transfer some or all of a card and start chipping away at it.
I say 'seem to have been accepted' as i have not received any confirmation or have been told what credit limit I have- but I have received a PIN for the card so I'm guessing I have.. Seems a bit backwards if you ask me. Hey ho, I'll see how it goes!
