I don't have any flash....I have lots of antibacterial cleaners like milton, dettol spray and a tesco brand I think....
Anyone know of anything else?

have you got any dove soap? a bit of that in warm water should do the trick, you didnt mention whether its paint or paper on the walls. there are different ways of cleaning papered walls as some arent washable."it's better than a poke in the eye with a pointy stick" - my dad, regularly throughout my childhood when I complained about something being too small/not perfect/not tasty/not what I wanted. he was right every time.0

Hi Bettyboop, just put a squirt of stardrops in a bowl of hot water like you would washing up liquid or mix it in a spray bottle and spray direct onto the walls and then wipe off. Sugar soap (liquid or powder) is also very good for cleaning walls but more expensive!! Have fun!!Slightly bitter0

Sugar soap can be bought at B and Q and other places like that. It is commonly used in preparation for painting and decorating but can be used to wipe down walls to.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

Probably too late, but whatever you use start washing at the bottom and move upwards. Otherwise, believe it or not dribbles can mark the wall.0

*chuckle* that's interesting. I always work the other way, because then I catch the dribbles on the way down. (otherwise it goes onto the part which I've just washed).
For me, a bit of washing up liquid, water and vinegar in a spray bottle works fine, unless there are heavy marks.Pick battles big enough to matter, small enough to win. - Jonathan Kozol0 -
i use stardrops with a micro fibre cloth. My mum uses washing up liquid and water. but cloth is really wrung out. Sometime if i'm lazy i use baby wipes and they work just as good, lol.0

I use diluted stardrops in a bucket, but use one of those self squidgy sponge mop things! I don't have to balance on steps, or stretch awkwardly then, it is much easier - I am such a cheat! lol

I am moving soon, does anyone know of a really good way to get rid of handprints on the walls..the children seem determined to leave their mark !!!Obstacles are things a person sees when he takes his eyes off his goal.0

Hi tango,
Sugar soap (available in most diy stores) is good for removing handprints and doesn't damage the paintwork.
There's an earlier thread with lots more ideas:
Cleaning Painted Walls
I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the suggestions together.
