    Don't buy the JML magic erraser....there expensive. Poundlad sell another brand which work exactlyu the same.

    :) I'll second (or third or fourth) sugar soap to wash the walls. It's also a good idea to choose a premuim paint marketed for extra toughness and washability next time you re-decorate. They'll be something suitable from most paint maufacturers. HTH.

    A rubber works brilliantly for a quick easy fix to most marks on the wall... (and a vacuum to pick up rubber debris)

  • Hi, hope you can help. My kitchen has very hight ceilings and the wall behind the cooker is so greasy. What is the best thing to use and do to clean it please? I am going to have to use long ladders as well to reach the top!

    Sugar soap is best for getting rid of greas.

    I'll second that.
    Be sure to wear rubber gloves. Sugar Soap dries up my hands pretty badly.

    I find using a Microfibre cleaning pad also helps get the grease off, I used a strong washing up liquid solution and it came straight off
