If I see the word "GRAMMAR" again in this thread I swear I will scream and cause injury. Some people just want to read the thread, not wear the scrolley on the mouse out. :mad:Whether we win or lose, that we played at all was a winning decision.

It's worth remembering that schools and colleges are off at the moment, hence the predictable increase in useless posts and threads, and some of the ridiculous "advice" being banded about.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0

I don't believe the OP was a troll, they have been on the site for nearly two years now, most trolls join up and troll straight away.
However after seeing the reaction to her criminal intentions I doubt she will be showing her face here again.
Even long term subscribers will get bored after a while or crave attention for some personal reason.
I only suggest that threads that give a lot of attention to one poster, invariably aren't genuine...............BUT, not always.:)"Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -

I agree most TROLLS are newbies but from my experience here on MSE a number of TROLLS have multiple identities which are used infrequently. Some give themselves away by using specific fonts, some by having the same gramatical errors in their postings, all by unbelievable stories which strangely enough centre on emotive subjects.0 -
do u think the OP made this all up then?0

Well it does seem a little strange. If you have lost your mobile you might report it to the police as possibly stolen and then make an insurance claim and buy a new one.
I find it hard to imagine that anyone would spend their own money on buying back what they think is their own property. Even if they could definitely prove it was theirs, there is no proof that the ebay seller was the thief, he could have bought it himself in good faith. And do you really think the police would be interested? You read stories in the paper every day about how they do not have the time to apprehend burglars.0 -
i totally agree with this, unless they hadnt insured the phone i guess! but if my phone got stolen or lost i would just ring up get it blocked, contactt he police for a incident number and then get a new phone on the insurance, i would rather have a new phone then a lost/stolen one back thats been blocked. Funny how they never updated us on the phone either0

exel1966, please take care when making allegations. I have nothing to do with Mandy. For goodness sake, I have been slated for highlighting her grammatical errors! I'll keep this short, as half of what I try to post has been disappearing. Please judge me on the basis of what I post, and on that alone.0

Id just take it as a loss and get a crime number from the police to make a claim, I can understand for all the photos all the phone numbers ect on the sim card.
You could say to the seller that you think its yours Its been blocked and you just want the sim out of it
Plus it is theft if they do sell it.
When some one buys it could you not get with the winner and ask them for the EMI number and tell them whats happened they won't want a phone thats been blocked cos if they get it unblocked then there the one thats in trouble with holding stolen goods:rolleyes:
Then there no such thing as finders keepers for the finder any more
Theres a couple who found a lottery ticket cashed it in. It was worth £30,000.
The woman who lost it reported it lost, lottery checked that the ticket had been cashed and she could proof that when and where she had bought it.
The couple are now been sued by the original winner for the cash back they have spent from the ticket plus whats left:eek:I'm all ways having malteser moments thats me :doh:0
