lol I got my dd one of the ebuyer guitars for xmas...and I hope that she will be able to play it to pink floyd level one day! lol

If nothing else she's going to look cool while trying ;)
  • Hope not, a touch of 'Stairway To Heaven' should test it's metal - put it through a Vox AC30 (can't beat valves!!) + Vox Fuzz box!!!

Well, received both Les Paul and Fender style guitars. Build quality isn't bad for both. Tunning is held reasonably ok even with the cheap strings! Action is a little high on both and and no much scope for adjustment without getting fret buzz. Necks on both were nice and straight. Sound and action from LP reminds me of Saxon LPs from mid 70's - not bad! Pot's and switches don't seem too bad - time will tell - but of course not in same league as the real pro product - not as heavy and smooth! The Fender feels a little cheaper than the LP and reminds me more of a Telecaster rather than Strat, but not bad for an intro. Both guitars are very playable compared to many previously sold cheap copies - which put off a lot of new players! Some new decent strings will help to improve sound and for the more serious, a set of Dimarzio's to take the overall ound to the next level! The little amps do the job - nice to see the distortion option. Not bad little packages for the money and should bring hours of pleasure for both old and new axe people out there without breaking the bank! Overall, my preference is the LP which just feels like it has a little more quality but the Fender ain't bad!
I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!

The main difference is that the "Aggros" one is 1/2 size. Not much use I would think, more of a toy than anything else.
no i disagree my 9 year has it and its plenty if not too big for him
Roll on spring, I hate the cold weather:(

Exactly, its fine for kids but give to anyone over the age of 12 and see what kind of look you get.

I got one fore Xmas for DD. Unfortunatley the amp just starting humminmg after a couple of days but I could only return it with rest of the kit but DD didn't want to send back her guitar from Father Xmas so ended up buying a replacement amp from ebay. So in the end I spent about £75 in total.

The thing that surprises me is my review is missing - I only gave it 2 stars, I suppose, possibly, the kit I bought had a different item number.

I presume you are talking about ebuyer. I bought a TV from them about 15 months ago. It was supposed to be a flat screen but definitely wasn't so I said so in my review and gave it 2 stars. Guess what? They took my review down too!!
They did offer to take the TV back but it was a load of hassle and just before Christmas so I didn't bother (I think sometimes that's what they rely on) but I've never been happy with that TV.
    Ian.
