I may be looking for an Epiphone Les Paul Standard. Can anyone point me in the right direction or offer advice? Any recommendations & where am I best to look for good prices and/or use voucher codes?

Best I seem to have found is @ Thomann it's £275.37. I have had a wee look around, but have no idea about anything musical! Does that sound good?

    TIA

Try Peter Cooks. Best selection of Epihones around and very good prices and service too.

The main difference is that the "Aggros" one is 1/2 size. Not much use I would think, more of a toy than anything else.

On a related note, I see that Ebuyer now have a Les Paul replica for £52.32

If it's as good as the KCC Strat I might have to have one!

I see it's gone up to £65 (inc VAT) but still amazing value. The guitar snobs won't like it of course, but the KCC/Summco kit gets consistently good crits. I'd have one - indeed, I may have to, too!
  • Just ordered one for my DD who currently is using my 1957 Gibson Les Paul at home to learn but wants to take it to school!!

Well as you possess such an instrument I assume you must be knowledgeable enough to know a good 'un from a bad 'un! I'm sure it would be much appreciated if you could give us your rating of the Ebuyer one when it arrives (are we gonna have to wait until Christmas?);)

Hope not, a touch of 'Stairway To Heaven' should test it's metal - put it through a Vox AC30 (can't beat valves!!) + Vox Fuzz box!!!
