Can't see this happening as i'm in Australia. Do i need to send the second letter, have provided them with all the letters from Mortgage, council tax, electricity etc
Thanks Jane0 -

You can send the second letter but I would send within that your telephone number and make them aware of an appropriate time to call you.0 -
can any body help asx i have looed everywhere for an answer on this but nobody seems to know !
i am currently with a debt management company ( payplan ) who have been lookin after my debts for around the last 3 years now. the reason why i fell behind so badly and had to go into debt management was because of the large amount of bank charges i received at the time.
i approximatley owe around 7k and around 4k of that would have been made up of bank charges because at the time they just kept adding them every other week. obviously this has been proved to be illegal now. they have frozen all the interest now and i am making them a regular monthly payment but my question is can i insist that they waiver all the charges they added to the accounts and i just continue to pay off the balance ?0 -

Congratulations by the way!
Thanks and yes it will clear so much. Thanks to Martin Lewis and Team and all the people that have put their stories and information on here. It certainly helped me to keep focused, giving me the confidence that it would all eventually come right.:rotfl: I hope all those other people who are fighting get a good result in the end because it really does feel good.0 -

Can someone advise me on this?
I sent my letter to HSBC and got one back so have now copied the letter proceeding with a court case. It says I need to insert a court name. Do I just insert my local small claims court or do I actually have to start a court claim?
Thanks

You can put a claim in but it will be stayed since the bank charges have NOT been deemed UNLAWFUL yet.0 -
