    .

One of the criteria for that scheme is "the value of the part of your home that you own must be enough to pay off any outstanding debts". I am not quite sure what that means, but it sounds like no negative equity cases, or have I misunderstood?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

NE was Never mentioned, I would of thought they had a large deposit buying a house on one wage at 21 though, otherwise 10X salary morgage.

Lets put it this way there is more help out there than the OP suggests.;)

Geoff must be struggling to find 'doom' news in the media, so is now making it up. :rotfl:

Geoff even started a thread that had news a month old yesterday.

    a desperate man indeed.

It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

now that you mention zero - i thought i'd sum up your recent contribution Geoffrey...

i'm seeing a very similar trend in the types of stories that attract your attention and you have started threads on... very, very sad Geoffrey

A loan shark who raped a client and threatened to petrol bomb

    It's A Horrible Life

has anybody had to eat out of soup kitchens?

    i am paying no tax

You then try to panic people by starting the below threads, it's probably because you don't have anything yourself - i hope that you realise that whatever you say in here has no impact on house prices...

incidently you have a habit of not providing any real facts or links but starting threads with zero facts - have a look at these

Looks like we have hit the desperation stage..

Don’t be fooled – the bad news isn’t priced in yet

How Much Money Has This Crash Saved You..

    Seriously Alarmed

recent buyers must accept their losses and more to come as market is allowed to fall

there are many more of your threads - just got bored looking at the rubbish that you troll on about

by the way - it's a bit early to get on that Sherry!

    Why would he/she lie ?

I thought it was a rather poignant comment on modern Britain and the great HPI lie that people like them have been suckered into.

BTL Landlords can lose their shirts. I will not shed a tear for them. But this couple seem decent, honest, hard working people who deserve better as they contribute and work hard.

Keep telling the truth Geoff. And don't let the buy-to-let slum landlords censor the news.

Geoffs only disappointment is that he can no longer press a glass to the bedroom wall and listen intently.
