    Thanks for the link

Thats a lovely cake Kaz and at least the cheeky hotel isnt getting a cut.

Hi Sal we're on a budget so it was just a thought for you. Mom and dad are helping us tho which is a massive help and even tho we are on a budget I have no doubt it will be the best and happiest day of our lives. Theres no way I am starting our married life in debt, iv been there and I won't go back - it was horrible.

My BM's are the same, my 2 best friends are size 20 and 24. My eldest future step daughter is 13, 5ft8 and size 12. My youngest step daughter is 8 but is like a puppy, shes got big feet and hands so you know shes going to take after Si who's 6ft 5 - poor kid! And then there my god daughter whos the same age as Molly but about half the size, shes like a little dot in comaprison. 5 dresses all diff sizes!!

What colour is your daughter having for her dresses?

    Chrisx
  • Chris,
I take it back about the cost! It seems that they had budgeted for about half that number (tbh who'd have thought that over 50 people would have said they were coming before any notices were sent out!).
She's looked at the Caleta and likes their packages so she's now got me looking at the other hotels and mons calpe. She's also thinking about some sort of cruise in the straits (gulp, not a good traveller!). Also about bringing the time forward. Lots of research over the weekend and a meeting with the bm's, man of honour. best man and us on Monday to thrash ideas around before the Save the Dates are done.
Bm's, we have a lovely blonde slim 5' 6 ish model type, a lovely curvy size 18 ish about the same height with hair colour that changes daily, and cute 18 yr old size 12/14 brunette (who is 'plum' coloured atm) who is only 5'2".
This is the closest I've found to the colour on line, it's peacock blue

    Hi sal

If you PM me an email address I can forward the menus that we had sent in Jan. They might be a little different but at least they will give a rough idea. I can also forward any additional pictures/info I have on The Caleta.

We have only 1 bridesmaid - our 10 year old daughter who will be wearing an ivory Monsoon number :rotfl:

Still havent had a response from Anushka's who I emailed on Tuesday night re flowers. I'm cutting it a bit fine now arent I :o.

Was a bit worried about the cake this morning as i realised there was no address or telephone number on the web page and thought is this something I am going to pay for and then they do a disappearing act. I then read they were recommended by the restaurant and they have said we can pay on the Monday when we go out 2 days before the wedding :D.

Guess its back to work for me know lunch breaks over

  • Kaz, have pm'd you :)
  • Thanks Chris,
It is gorgeous but none of the shops we've been to have had anything near it, neither do Landy or milly :(
Once we've decided on the dress, I'm going to send that pic to Milly and Landy to see if they can match it.

Cant believe its only 7 days until we fly and 10 days until we wed

Have had a weekend of bits of shopping, lots of fun with friends and not much else.

That means I have to crack my own whip and get on as I'm at work all week and will only have Saturday to finish off

    Wish me luck :rotfl:
