It shouldn't be offered though, everyone should have to pay for themselves.
So if you are ever lucky enough to fall pregnant you won't be taking any maternity leave whatsoever???? Good on you girl if you timed it right you could give birth in the early hours of the morning and be back in work for 9am!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:Coming soon............

I am currently setting up a business, so no I wouldn't expect someone to pay me to stay at home. My husband and I are financially secure and would never become scroungers.0

And what exactly in your perfect little world, is a scrounger?
Someone who is pregnant and takes maternity leave?
It's a good job you don't have a child with that immature attitude.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
:eek:She has an desk at home and in the office, she wasn't sat at home doing nothing like most people do, she was working.
I am a stay at home mum and I do not sit at home doing nothing - and I don't know a sahm that does. We are at home bringing up our children - the most important job in the world imho. (My hubby works to pay for me and lo)
Also, the OP asked about pregnancy - she didn't ask what she is entitled to - people just stated about maternity pay etc as it is a MONEY saving site.
Congrats OP on your pregnacy. Enjoy it!

Going to save about £100-£150 per month.
Thanks.0 -
Were not adopting, I have made that clear and the reasons for this. My SIL being our surrogate does not have any impact on my career. As for peole saying it is busy being a sahm, my best friend has two young children and claims she is bored stiff sat at home with them and can't understand why anyone thinks it is hard work.0
