Does anyone know what warranty is with this Del 1300 and does this offer finish today?

Is it in any of todays papers??

    Cheers

It's 1 year warranty Return to base warranty, but only the 1st 90 days Dell will pay for the postage costs if it goes wrong.

Think I'll order one too if its wireless, even tho my friends tells me its a really slow processor!

I only really need it for surfing, email so I'm sure it will be ok for that!

And just because the one you order off their website is wireless is absolutely no guarantee that the one advertised in the Telegraph (which has no e-value code) will have the same specification..

I can confirm that the telephone offer is the same spec machine as the basic web one, I orderd mine over the phone and I have the cofirmation with the product specs and it is the same machine, it is wifi enabled etc
    hope that clears things up
    cheers

Jim, did you specifically ask for the old offer and e-value code of the machine that you previously tried to order? Or did you just as for this weekend's deal from the Telegraph?
    Thanks!

    Hi
just asked for the 299quid inspiron laptop, they then email you a proforma invoice for you to check, you email it back and then they send you an order confirmation
on both of these there is a full product specification, and it is identical to that on the web (although you can upgrade the battery to a 6cell for 11quid on the phone but not online!)
    hope that helps

Can you (or anyone else that has ordered at £299) post up the full spec that they have emailed you as it's difficult to see if they are pulling a fast one over the upgrades for wifi etc or if you are actually getting something different for the additional cost.

Does anyone else think the advert which which states it includes a 8x DVD+/-RW combo drive is misleading as the sales staff insist it is a cdrw/dvd combo.

This is the top part of the spec they sent me, had to type it myself so maybe some typos.
