Im sorry. But you're incorrect. Many people DO get cured. And it IS a fact. No one said 'EVERYONE gets cured' or 'NO ONE gets cured'

    They said 'many people'.

    And thats true.

Well, what you've said in this post means nothing and proves nothing to me.

I answr a lot more than most people here ioncluding you but i dont do "what if" traps. they are usually rather pathetic and the people who ask these type of questions are often deeply unpopular billy no mates types.

Can't think of anything clever to say so you resort to insults. Very mature.

By the way, I think some of your letters aren't working on your keyboard.

There are different types of depression.
Clinical, endogenous depression, that naturally comes from within with no external trigger, requires drugs to 'cure' it. Possibly lifelong drugs.

How often are your serotonin levels tested

Perhaps you could do it for her tomorrow over the internet?:p

I've never had my serotonin levels tested, such tests are not offered by NHS docs, a low serotonin level is clinically evident to the doctor and experientially evident to the patient. .
Oh dear never had them tested. how do you know they are low or havent got lower or higher given that serotonin takes about a nanosecond for the body to make i wonder how much of the drugs you GP knows to give at any one time Or does he rely on the DSM and guess?
can you by any chance make your symptoms worse.

Well your definition of not being cured was that it could come back. I just pointed out how stupid that was.
i once had a smoker go two yrs and then he smoked for some reason but he claimed the therapy didnt work.
Depressed people often test for signs of the illness rather than its absence.
