Beds - we've bought a cotbed - 70cmx140cm matress size - hopefully that should do Roo till she's a couple of years old at least
By then we could have moved house, won the lottery, had more kids... but if we haven't then I think 140cm should do her for a while! If we have had more kids then she'd probably be upgraded to a single bed earlier
Ironically we have one in the loft already (IKEA daybed thingy) so that's already sorted...

I've been trying to pretend that it's not so bad and then people like you turn up and ruin it!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Have got a midwife appointment later, so hopefully get to hear beanies heartbeat again!
My lovely neighbour  just told me how I still don't look very pregnant, how she had her baby at 28 weeks (what I am now) and how I probably don't look pregnant because I was sooooo "big boned" to begin with! She than went on and on about how she had a 21" waist before she got pregnant. Feel slightly depressed now, but she has said far worse things in the past and she means no harm really, she just doesn't think before she speaks.
Silly cow  (her not you sweetie :A)
Makes me so angry how people don't think before they speak.
Doesn't get ant better after you give birth - then people think they have the right to comment on how well you are or are not doing at losing the baby weight
The day that I gave birth (after long labour) my MIL jokingly  said 'when's it due?' - fortunately I was too tired and loved up with Benjamin to take it to heart. Apparently my hubby went mad at her for saying iy later on :T - my heroplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

I see from your reply that you've had to move your daughter out to make way for the next one, which is my point, is there any point having a cot that turns into a bed if the next baby we may have will need it?
Sorry, hope I'm making myself clear
I suppose it depends on what you want from a cot and how soon you plan to have more babies... We plan to use the same cotbed for the next baby for as long as it needs too... Which could well be another 5 years...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Hi MFD - how's u n urs?!!
Forgot to say that OH is taking weekly pics of my bump to keep a diary! I will try and get one off him and upload - I looked massive last night but not sure if it's just muffin top! God, that probably means I have put on weight - will check tonight (she silently prays that it's not toooooo much!)
Oh yeah and Bear - I am buying a cotbed. Found one on eBay the mattresses on eBay are much cheaper than Mothercare for the same thing and are new!
We probably will have another baby soon after this one but will cross that bridge when we come to it!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Awww, thank you guys for being so nice :A.
MFD - good on your hubby for sticking up for you. My hubby goes out of his way to ignore this particular neighbour when she starts talking as he gets so riled up with her stupid comments. She told me the other day how she thought my husband wasn't very friendly 'cause he never talks to her, he just doesn't want to get involved with her hurtful gossip, thats all. And I walk away when she starts with all the "her down the road, she's not married to the father of her child...", "So and so are living in sin". Oh, the horror of it , fetch me my smelling salts....

Sorry. If it helps SugarSpun, i also put on 3 to 4 kilos, from coming off the pill to getting pregnant in about an 8 month period. Sorry, i am only a petite 5ft 1 and have always weighed less that 7 1/2 stone (except when pregnant the first time). Not trying to keep the weight off. Chocolate (Glaxy) is my best friend and by BF seems to think i'm huge. He has no tact or diplomacy. Told me if i carry on eating my backsidewill be the size of Holly Willoughbys. Does not think that i should get fat for any reason, even whilst pregnant. Told him he can go sh**te, and when my backside gets as big as his head then i will start to worry.0
