Wow just took me an hour to catch up  so much bad news..love and hugs to those who need them (thats all of us then eh?!)

I was 16 and 'knocked up' and yes I was living off the state and it was the worst time in my life EVER. Don't think every teen mum should be branded with the 'sponging from the state and loving it' brush.
love my little man he is amazing :j

    Isn't that hypnobirthing expensive?

Yeah, but I'm sure there is free stuff on google somewhere! :D

My washing machine is refusing to drain and spin stuff!!!!:eek::eek: And of course, it has to be the sicky/pooy sheets that's in it too!

HypnoNu might be able to advise on the hypnobirthing - I think she is a hypnotherapist.

Hi Angela, my EDD buddy :D. How can you tell which is what part of the baby. I can sometimes feel hard bits but I've no idea if it's a bum, a head or a limb! :o

    Hi

I had a scan at 23 weeks and thought she was still breach and she was...her feet are really low on my pubic bone and i can only tell from the movements that she hasnt moved...meaning they are the same as they were then.

I do have a hard ridge above my belly button which as she's feet down must be her arm has its about that width!! guess work really.

I dont have any stretch marks yet either...well no new ones, I did get them with my other two but i cant remember at what point...im sure it was before now but im using sanctuary body oil and hoping that will work x

    Hey there!

AM- I am using a free hypno birthing download from:
    http://www.free-hypnosisdownloads.com/downloads/free-downloads-standard-members/natural-child-birth.html

You have to sign up to be a standard member but its free, just needs your name and email etc. It basically reducates your brain that contractions arent pains.... they are waves of pressure. To be honest it is keeping me calm about the prospect of the birth so I am happy if thats all it does. I would like to be able to maintain this for the birth but am happy to use entonox, pethidine and epidural if necessary... being a first timer I dont know what to expect... my mum had a really bad experience with my birth which put her in hospital for 2 weeks, but used only gas and air giving birth to my brother so I am trying not to build up any expectations.
    DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz
    DD1 arrived 20/05/09 10lb3oz

    Hi Tickle

Thanks for that! Downloading as we speak (well, type!)
I shall burn onto a CD and play in the car - glad it has a British Accent. Don't think I could stand an American person - would get on my nerves.

(not that I've got anything against Americans - my best friend is American but the accent grinds on me)
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

There isn't always blood in it....

Washing machine is totally kapoot. Typical that it happens when the kids are ill!!!

Want me to share some of my 'Looking forward to a 'natural even if it may be induced, labour' vibes?

All I can say hun is that just because it wasn't nice the last time doesn't mean the same will happen this time. Maybe have a google for this hypnobirthing lark, speak to your mw, mother, sister, neighbour, anyone who will listen.

What exactly is it about labour that scares you? Pain, how long it lasts, them not listening to you, tearing?? If you can pinpoint the exact fears it will be easier to deal with. It's how I'm trying to 'prepare' for if I have to have a section.
Thanks, I think it's mainly the tearing, or going through it all then have a section.!
Oh I dunno, but the more i think about it the more i'm leaning toward a natural, I just need to find out exactly what my inducing options are if I go over, because i know they wont induce me at all before term unless my cervix is dialated so will that be the same if I go over?
My MW thinks i'm nearly on my way anyway, so yes I'll have plenty of labour vibes if you can spare them :D
