AM please please talk to your midwife or if at all possible the hospital about your doubts, don't worry about messing anybody about, if you are not sure about the section then you need to talk it through until you have a plan you are happy with.

Just wanted to say thanks for the messages of sympathy. So sorry LL.
Don't know if we will try again we weren't trying this time and it just happened, was a shock really although we were very happy about it.
Already have 3 children (this is my 3rd MC gone baby mc baby mc baby mc) not sure I can go through this all again.

I hope the lady who has had the bleeding is Ok. Logging off now as DD2 is ready for a nap, may go and lie down with her for a big cuddle.

    Afternoon all :D

Im sorry to hear your news alibobsy and leopardlady, take care of yourselves. x

Mrs T, We get checked for chlamydia at our booking in appointment, it was just a pee in a pot jobby and got the results back by text about a week later. Im sure your midwife could organise it for you.

Sami, hope your ok hun and I really hope all goes well when you chat with your OH later. Im sure he will apologise and you guys can sort things out properly now he has had chance to calm down.

AM glad your measuring normal size, you probably just have lots of fluid round bubs!

Tara thats nothing to be ashamed of and thanks for sharing, I have to admit I told porkies when my little boy asked how the baby was going to get out! :o He is six and in my defence we were stood on the playground waiting for him to go into class. But we are quite open with everything else. I intend to be very open with this one shes a girl...and I dont want her making the same mistakes as me. I got 'knocked up' at 16 but would like to point out that me and Josh's dad are still together we have never lived off the state and seeing as he is older than me we bought our house before Josh was born. We both work hard and dont get handouts. It isnt just 16 year olds who make mistakes there are plenty of other older women who get 'knocked up' and live off the state!!
Sorry for ranting but being a teen mum doesnt mean you should be labelled

    Oh, AM I don't know!

My OH isn't capable of being 'too ill'. Can you not just jump on him?!
They did say it was best to digest the sperm rather than absorb - she says without wanting to get graphic.......... :rotfl:
Oh, hasn't he got a UTI? May not.......

Eat lots of curries, lots of pineapple - girls help me out here!

At the end of the day - baby will come when baby's ready so if there's no appearance by the 17th I guess it will be a section
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

I know the scheme is for under 25s for the testing round here but I'll ask the MW in a bit :) Worst case I'd pay for it to be honest - I know it'll be neg but now it's going round and round my head so I might as well get it checked :) the bloods they did at my checking in did NOT include chlamydia from what I can tell on the paperwork (odd - you'd think the amount of blood they've had off me by now they'd have tested for that at some point... well maybe they have but i can't see it...)
Had a bit of a snooze was so tired :( still feel tired but need to get hopping for my MW appointment... bah humbug
