I mostly feel mine low down and assumed that was because at the 20-week scan baby was lying breech, but now I feel it most around my tummy button (which hasn;t popped yet! Yay!) and I think maybe Bubba has turned round?

Mine is still breach and i feel alot around my stomach. Think its her hands tho so this may be the same for you?

I moisturise my tummy and sides every day but never did my boobs and now have hideous purple stretch marks on my left boob :( Every time I think about them I want to cry and I feel so ugly as a result. I have about 15 weeks still to go and if I get any more I will be so upset. I know I shouldn;t be like this but I can;t help it - OH doesn;t fancy me preggie so we don;t have sex at the moment (don;t even really kiss or cuddle) and I feel SO unattractive. We've only been married ten months so I feel I've let him down by getting ugly so quickly :(

This has made me cry....I know we all feel unattractive at times and pregnancy makes it worse but this is so sad...tell your OH how you are feeling...even if he's not up for jiggy he needs to show you his love.....you are carrying your child and your body changing is testamount to this....it will change so much more and especially after the birth too x

All this talk of chlymidia....when i had my booking in appt with the MW it was one of the tests they carried out then?? It must have been as i can remember them telling me the results had came back all clear.

Elle...when you were asking yesterday about movement....Most of my movement is from just above my belly button and below. I know that she is still breach tho. I can feel the top of my uterus about one inch below my breast bone and can normally feel an arm almost as high up but the hand slightly lower. Her feet are almost at my pubic bone x
I didn't have any tests done at my booking in appointment other than having my blood pressure taken. I think it's different everywhere though.

I'm at 29 weeks now and his head is very low down. I literally pee evey 5 minutes. And a lot of the movement seems to be down here to, way below my belly button, strange.

Ali, sorry to hear your bad news. Take care x

my OH the same he say he loves my shape :D x

I'm normally a skinny minny so he says he likes me with some meat on my bones and love handles!!

Even though most of the time I'm not up for it - we always cuddle in bed and he is very protective over Bean in the night. He wakes me up in the night to go for a wee so that my bladder isn't full and sore in the morning and he wakes me up if Im lying on my back.
I love him to bits but he can be a sod as well sometimes!

I am glad I don't live in Cardiff anymore if they only took your BP at booking in!

What else did you lot have then. I pee'd on a stick but that went in the bin after she looked at it and said it was Ok. My booking in appointment was at my flat so I don't suppose there's a lot she could do there.

BP, weight (although no scales so I guessed), urine for protein/glucose, sample sent off for Chlamydia, bloods for Blood Group, Full Blood Count, HIV, Syphillis, Thalassamia (?sp).
As I have FH of Diabetes I got booked in for GTT as well as scan there and then. My appointment was supposed ot be an hour but I was there for almost 2! I got the bounty pack for Mums to Be and the midwife even dropped me off some books from the hospital.

I am so grateful I had a lovely MW even though it wasn't my actual MW who I've not met yet and won't til I'm 22 weeks!

OMG, you ladies talk so much!!! I tried to catch up on Sunday night and last night but gave up on the old thread and started the new thread. Managed to get to page 22 last night before my eyes wouldn't stay open any more and have now just spent my lunchhour reading the rest. I'm out tonight so won't be able to get back on again until tomorrow.

Big gugs to Leopardlady and Alibobsy. Hope to see you both back on here very soon.

Lots of sticky vibes to Nickabella. I would have done exactly the same as you and booked for the private scan tomorrow. I can't believe the earliest NHS appointment they could give you was on Saturday. That is awful.

Sami - hugs to you sweetie. I hope you get things sorted with hubby. If you can, it would be a good idea to talk to him about how he made you feel and the impact it's had on Christopher. From what you've said about how he's been since, it sounds like he hasn't realised how frightened he made you and Christopher. I had a look at your Facebook pictures from your walk yesterday and, crikey, how gorgeous is Christopher! He is such a cutie.

On the bio-oil discussions, I've bought the biggest bottle (200ml) and got it for £11.99 from fragrancemad.com (or.co.uk) including P+P, which I thought was pretty good. Can stretchmarks appear at any time? I'm 27+2 now and haven't got any yet but in the next few weeks I'll probably balloon so was thinking maybe I should be on my guard! Like Kathy, I've been using the Mum to Be body butter from The Sanctuary. It smells so lovely. It is about £9 a tub but the tub is large and I was bought it as a present, so even better :D

Hi Angela, my EDD buddy :D. How can you tell which is what part of the baby. I can sometimes feel hard bits but I've no idea if it's a bum, a head or a limb! :o
